Can someone pleaaaaase

hahahahaha. is it nice out? i haven't been out at all today {i'm in massachusetts, not far from rhode island.. you are in rhode island, right? or am i confusing you with someone else..}

I am :) It's been really lovely the past few days.. It's a lil cloudy today, but I don't think it's going to rain.. White fluffy overcast instead of scary mean overcast :D :D

lol we FINALLY have success.. I had to be mean :D :D :D He will seriously eat NOTHING .. it's not even just about being a picky eater and just wanting PB or bread or something.. He's just stubborn :D

DS2 lives on cheese pizza, rice with ginger sauce and PB&J, plus the occasional Cheese Nip. DS1 has recently branched out to tacos & corn dogs.

I get both situations. My son survives on very few things like PB&J and Spaghetti and I have to force him to eat several meals a day. My daughter is toooootally opposite. That's all she thinks about is food and could eat non-stop w/o ever being full. I have to basically force her to stop eating. And she will eat just about anything except onions. Her latest obsession is tomatoes, olives and mushrooms.

I think it's an age thing..My 3 yr old will only eat tacos lately..so everything I cook lately has to be able to go in a flour tortilla lol...we had breakfast for dinner on Monday and I had to put bacon and egg into a tortilla for her...kids I tell ya lol

Last night we actually HAD tacos..tonite we're having steak so I'm sure hers will end up in a tortilla too! lol...

Find what he does like and run with it lol

All of my kids survived on hot dogs ( yuk ) and mac & cheese w/ peas FOREVER !!!!!! Thankfully they have all branched out and will pretty much eat anything with the exception of Tyler (5 yrs old) He just does not like most meat unless it is breaded or in the form of a breakfast sausage, taco meat or a sloppy joe!!!!!! He also takes FOREVER to eat his dinner!!!! All he ate last nite was his brusselsprouts and left his pork chop for the dog!!!!

We once drove to Saskatchewan and back with my then 2.5 year old niece refusing to eat anything but french fries, or some similar fried potato goes good with ketchup combination.

If you looked at her the wrong way (i.e. any way) she would scream at the top of her lungs followed by a huge raspberry. She would only shut up and be nice if we were playing The Temptations My Girl, but only if she alone was singing along!... if you tried to join in she'd shout, NO! give you serious stink eye, point and say in a low, threatening tone, I do! So, um, yeah... 20 or so orders of fries later, couple thousand miles during a freakin' heat wave in a mini van with no freakin' air conditioning, My Girl playing for about the 227th time but god forbid you sing along... good times! :cursing: :D

In general it seems like 1st borns are picky and 2nd will eat just about anything, that's the conclusion when I compare notes with ppl.

DD1 will eat the simplest, blandest food - like pasta w/o spaghetti sauce, mac and cheese, hotdogs, fries.

DD2 and DD3 will eat anything in sight. Even weird stuff like salt and vinegar chips, chitterlings, sushi.

i'm sorry, your litte man is right.

food IS the root of all evil, take a look at my backside if you need proof.

;)

LOL!!!!!!!!
He is too cute Lauren. I am trying to con my daughter away from the t.v. long enough to go outside too. We just got direct tv (rolling eyes here, hubby wanted it) so she's now obsessed AGAIN with spongebob. And i was hoping cutting the cable off would take care of that. Hmph.
Time to go cut the t.v. off and drag this youngin outside.

ack I have the hardest time getting my son to eat. All that kid ever wants is treats. You would think he would realize that he doesnt get treats if he doesnt eat his food but we have the same fight every day.

Hehehe too funny!

Soo glad both of my girls are good eaters! There's a few odd vegies that they don't like but they will pretty much eat anything I put in from of them!

Ugh, I hear you Lauren! My youngest is way too picky and says he's never hungry. He will complain about a stomach ache every day at dinner to get out of eating. But 15 minutes later he's asking for a snack!

My oldest is the complete opposite, he eats everything and at 12 is going to give his dad a run for his money in the food department very soon!
