Can someone help me with glue

I really haven't got a clue what I should buy, I am looking through the stores and seeing mostly PVA (which I have never gotten on well with) and glue dots which I have used before for cards but don't really think that would work. Someone said double sided tape but I would really appreciate any advice regarding what glue is best to use. I will admit that is the biggest reason I have avoided hybrid up until now, there's no undo button I am really scared of doing something wrong and wasting the money on the albums. Hugs Crystal xx

For me it depends on the project. I use glue dots for things like buttons and chipboard embellies, tacky (white craft) glue for lots of things, xyron if I am covering a journal or something but for most general projects, like just sticking paper to paper I use a tape runner, like these:

so for sticking printed pages (probably on photo paper) to I think the album I am looking at is chipboard would something like herma work? I only came up with that one because they have it in the store I really have no clue and that's why I never actually got around to paper scrapping lol. I like my computer too much lol.

I would think it would work fine, I'd use the permanent kind (as opposed to repositionable).
