I hate them and their stupid income tax forgiveness table!!! :cursing: :cursing:

How can there only be a $2250 dollar difference whether you get 100% of your taxes back or 0% of your taxes back!!!

PA can take a long hike off a short cliff!!!

I have no idea what that means but at least your state isn't threatening to give tax refunds in the form of IOUs.

What??? IOU's????? That's so bad!!!

We have to pay city taxes here. Last year we had a refund, a tiny refund but hey it was a refund, they never sent it to us! You know if I owed them a tiny bit they'd climb us and add interest but they can just not pay... ummm ok!

That's crazy!
And, Lynnette, are you serious???
We've already filed ours & are supposed to get them back next week already!

Sadly, yes. We're military so while we live in Colorado, we pay our state taxes to our resident state, which is California. CA is so broke at this point and have yet to pass the budget for the year (I think it's several months late at this point), that they're saying that the tax refunds may be "delayed" and sent out in the form of IOUs. Of course if they do end up delayed, no one seems to know at this point how long the delay would be. It's totally ridiculous and well sadly, not at all surprising with how terrible the state government is with their money.

California lawmakers are HORRIBLE!!! At least their pay will be suspended come Feb. 1st if they don't pass the budget which was supposed to be done last JUNE!!! Unfortunately they are also cutting pay of other State workers who are not involved with the budgeting. And yes, there is a 99.9% that Californians will be issued IOU's for their tax refunds (which could be put on hold indefinitely). Stupid government officials............

Im kinda glad that we do not have a state income tax here in FLorida. We would probably be like California at this point

That's the one thing I miss about living in Florida...we made up for it though in gas prices and such..I remember my friends in other states, etc saying their gas was like 88 cents a gallon and mine was 1.30..(way back when gas was under $1/gallon)

I'm glad we have another deduction this year though lol..last one though (at least for a long while lol)

Yay!! Here's to income tax deductions! The ONLY way kids can save you some money!

I am SO glad to live in NH with no income (or sales tax)..... my dh worked in Maine and Massachusettes in the past couple years and their state forms (especially Maine) were HORRIBLE. I dont mind the federal ones but the state ones STINK!
