Can I do it?

I feel so stressed out right now but I have just 9 more days of uni to go before the semester ends and I feel so behind after being sick pretty much the entire month of May.

I am behind on a case study report (i've sent out the SOS to my classmates to help me through it). I have 2 presentations and 2 exams to go (each exam worth 50% of my grade for those classes - both classes which are compulsory to get C+ to be eligible for the nursing degree next month). One of the courses is health science which I have missed so much of while being sick that I am really worried about it after only getting a C- in the last exam.

You would think after that I have some time to breathe? nope I am working the Tuesday and Friday of the last week of June and then the following 2 weeks (including my birthday ) for my mum while she is enjoying herself in Canada,

Right now I really just want to forget about everything and go into a hole for awhile

Don't give up and hide in a hole. You have done so much work to get this far. Have you thought about breaking down what you have to do into little bits and doing a bit at a time and ticking it off?
This always works for me when I feel overwhelmed as I feel I am actually achieving something along the way.
Good luck

Great advice Rachel. You can do it Jennifer! Make a list of tasks in priority order then work away at them until they're done. Put the hard yards in and you will reap the rewards.

I agree Jennifer. Nothing has ever been accomplished by giving up. We all have our really rough times when we have to dig deep and push beyond what we think we can do. Take a deep breath, make your list and then go kick some butt on those tests!!!

I know how the final weeks of school can feel. I would recommend doing something fun with friends or on your own. I know that if I try to work for hours straight, I get distracted and waste time, so maybe set aside an hour for yourself to have a snack and scrapbook. Good luck!

You can do it and I agree with Racheal, if you can do a little at a time that will be easier and less stressful.

Don't disappear into the hole! There's nothing there for you. On the other hand, finishing your semester will get you one step closer to your dream job. It's going to be a rough nine days but when it's over you will feel so good!! :)

Jennifer, I was in the exact same boat last semester too, I know you can do it. And then just think it will be all over! (Or at least until you start on the next thing! LOL) Good luck!

OOooooh! Crossing my fingers for you! You have a lot of difficult tasks ahead, but you can do it!! Best wishes!!

well one presentation down and I got a B! very close to an A but that is ok at least it is done - I can expect to get a B I think for that class once I get my case study done

I've been thinking about you. Glad you got the one presentation behind you now -- and with a good grade! Congrats!

Keep going. We are cheering you on!

not too much more to do - I have done the two major exams this week, one of which was ok and I should pass and the other feeling really good about it and will be really annoyed if I dont get a decent mark in it

Well done for getting this far. I am terrible with exams, I completely lose the capacity to think.

What type of nursing degree is it? :)

Wow, that will be a huge achievement! My grandmother studied back in the fifties in the UK and she often tells stories of practicing injections on oranges, how strict her matron was etc. She was once asked by a senior surgeon to go down to the supplies room and ask for a 'long stand'. Obviously no such thing existed and it took years to live it down.:D

Well I am one step closer - got my results for my crucial paper (health knowledge) - a C- for the exam but combined with my B grade from the assignment earlier in the semester I think I have a C+ which is the minimum entry grade for consideration to the degree
