But what the heck does Shutterfly mean by a "QUALIFYING ORDER"???
I received a coupon for a free photobook if I place a qualifying order and since I have never ordered from them and I can't find what a qualifying order is, I am hoping that some of you Shutterfly vets can help...

Your order has to meet the requirements of the coupon (like # of photos or type of book, etc.) The 2 times I've used Shutterfly it was with a free book code...made my book, went to check out and the code didn't apply itself even though it was a qualifying order. I had to e-mail CS and they had to fix it.

I got the same e-mail and i didn't understand it either lol.

Do i have to buy something else in order to qualify for the free book or does the book just have to meet certain qualifications? I am still confused lol

You have to make a purchase, and then they give you a free book code.

So if I have a coupon for a free book do I have to order a book to get the free book or can I buy like $10 worth of prints to have the order "qualify"?

See, now Lizzy has me more confused than ever...:p:confused:

Kat, it should say in your email what a qualifying purchase is. Usually there's a $ amt. Prints should work.

This may have been said, but here's how I read it:

Make a purchase of whatever you want, and enter the code photobook at checkout. Then, you will get a code for your free photobook to use as a later purchase.

(I got the email too ... will have to read how much I need to spend on the order before I get the free photo book. Hee hee. I really want to give them a try, but a free book is the only way I will try before I buy a book.)
