Calendar Printing help

This is the first year I have decided to use a combination of calendar templates and quick pages. I have made it through most of the year so I decided to go ahead and start uploading them and getting everything ready to print so once I am done I only have a couple of months to do. I was wondering where everyone got them printed. I was going to use persnickety but I find that it is cutting off more of the outer edges than I would like Have you guys found somewhere that does not do that or what do you guys do.

I actually decided to do this at the beginning of the year and purchased the 2013 quick pages and templates cheap (I didn't plan on using the bottoms) and have been working on it throughout the year.

I have considered creating a new file that is 8.5 x 11 and adding my jpeg as a new layer and resizing it so that there is a white border around the topper that would be cut off if that makes sense. I guess I'm just trying to see if there are any other options.

I use some of 12 x 12 pages and convert them to 8.5 x 11 by doing what you said above. I just create a 8.5 x 11 file and then plop my PSD file on it. I resize as need and try to leave the outside .25 inch bare in case it gets cut off. Works pretty well.

I don't think there would be any other way to do it that I can think of.

I have not used persnickety for calendars... but my guess is that it will actually cut off less than it is showing. On a layout, they cut off next to nothing.

Are you wanting to add your own top and bottom (grid) or just the top? I order my calendars from overnightprints.com, which allows you to do both. I think there's another thread here today about printing calendars you can check out.
