Buying tv episodes on iTunes?

Anyone do this before?

I wanted to get the kids a couple of new Spongebob Episodes. Do you just burn it off to a DVD once you download it?

We've bought several tv episodes and movies from itunes, but i've never tried to put them on a dvd. I"m not sure that they'd be the right format (not that I know what format they'd need to be). We just watch them on the computer or on our ipods.

I don't think you can burn them. DH tried to once and when we played it back on the DVD player the picture was upside down lol..i think they protect them somehow..copyright stuff.

I have only bought movies/tv episodes from itunes that I planned on watching on my iPod or on my computer. I don't think you can burn an actual DVD and watch it like in the car or on TV. But you could use your ipod/computer as the input to your tv and watch it that way, I think.

Well that's pretty dumb, considering you can burn the disc off when you download music.

Ah well, scrap that idea! My 4 year old doesn't have an iPod LOL
