Bride Wars

Has anyone seen it? I don't watch movies often, but I keep seeing the trailers on the Pay Per View, and wondered if it was any good? It looks funny LOL

It was alright. I'm not really into the whole do-whatever-i-can-to-getevenge-on-my-best-friend kind of thing... but if you like that, it's okay. It was only PG, so I like that.

We checked it out free from the library, so I don't feel bad complaining.

yeah, it was ok .... no moments like - wow, I didn't see that coming - or anything. Hubby even watched it with me, didn't walk away like he does during most boring chick flicks.

I wanted to see this movie so badly, I thought it'd be hilarious (great to go watch with my mom & sister). We rented it and were let down. It wasn't that funny and was very predictable, like everyone's said. I wish they didn't show all the funny parts in the previews! Hate it when they do that with movies!

Is that the one with Kate Hudson and what's her name from Get Smart (the the two disiny princess movies)!?!? If so I watched it and it was "eh, OK". They have both done better (much better) movies!!! If you can rent it for $3 bucks or less it's worth the watch....if you have to pay more...pass and wait a while till the price goes down!!!

I thought it was cute!! It was very predictable, but I mean if you are just looking to be entertained for an hour and a half it's fine! :D My mom really liked it too :)

Well I know I saw it in the theaters but I don't remember if I liked it or not, which should probably say something. I actually just rented it through Netflix because I wanted to see it again to find out. :D

I do remember that I wasn't a huge fan of the whole premise. I just found it rather sad that these girls were supposed to be best friends since they were really little, but as soon as they get engaged they turned on each other like they're sworn enemies. I don't know, we'll see what I think the 2nd time around. :p

Yeah, might as well as rent it, J. It's not the worst chick flick I've ever seen or anything. It's fine.

'He's Just Not That Into You' is out now, too, though, and I'd recommend renting that over 'Bride Wars.' Lots more hot guys (I can't remember there being any famous hot guys in 'Bride Wars,' just generic up and coming ones) and funnier, too.

Ooooh, I LOVED "He's Just Not That Into You"! It was funny! And it ended just the way I wanted it to, lol! I really liked Confessions of A Shopaholic too, even though they didn't stay completely true to the books story line.

Those are both on my "to rent" list!!!

It was eh. It was predictable. I didn't feel like I really wasted my time watching it, but it wasn't great.

We rented it not too long ago & thought it was hilarious! But then DH has a "thing" for Anne Hathaway so that probably helped :D

Another cute chick flick I watched today was New In Town with Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. (mmm he just keeps getting better with age ;)) I was cracking up @ the scrapbooking ladies in the movie too!

I saw it in the theater with a group of girlfriends and I thought it was funny. Definitely not the best chick flick I've ever seen, but there were parts that were funny. :) It's worth a watch.

On the other hand, I thought that New in Town was HILARIOUS!! I laughed so hard that I cried while watching that one! Too funny!

I just watched New in Town. That was a cute movie, definitely a chick flick. Dave watched about half of it with me then went to bed LOL. Loved the scrapbooking ladies too.
