Blue Screen of Death!

We had a huge burst of snow/wind and the power went off for a second and when I rebooted my computer the dreaded blue screen came up! I tried to reboot in safe mode and got nowhere! I'm gonna have to take it to work tomorrow and hope the computer geeks will take a look at it!

Thank goodness for a work laptop so I can at least get online but PS isn't cooperating on it so I can't scrap! :(
 
Oh no! It's such a sinking feeling to see that! I hope the techies can help you out!
 
Ugh, the blue screen of death makes me break out in a cold sweat. I hope the computer geeks at work can fix it for ya!
 
oh no, Pam. A storm took mine out last summer just like that. It stinks. I hope they can help you out and that you were all backed up if they can't. Nothing could be done for mine. My husband asked me if I could wait til Christmas! I asked how long could you go without if the TV died? He said, go get one tomorrow.
 
Been there with that. I felt devastated! Went to Walmart and picked me up a UPS Battery Backup and Surge protector for about $40. It has paid for itself a thousand times since our power flips off and on just about everyday. We've lost a refrigerator and freezer due to the power influxes.

Hope they were able to fix it.
 
So far no luck! It was plugged into a surge protector when this happened too! I am thinking there may be something up with my Portable EHD because I was working on my laptop last night trying to redo the SAL layout I lost when my computer died and it kept freezing up on me. I did finally finish the layout but not until I lost it twice more! I need to back up my EHD fast I think!
