Blue & Brown Damask?

Found a CUTE card for Christmas on Shutterfly and we have pics from the wedding two weeks ago that would go great. BUT, though I want quick and easy, it's a stationary card and for 25 it'd cost me $35. That seems pricey when I think I could buy a kit and use it to make my own- even if I had them printed, it'd be cheaper.

This is the one I'm looking at (the image from the store, not the one with my family, but my pics in color go GREAT!)

Anyone know a kit that would work? Thank in advance- maybe I can get these Christmas cards done EARLY (gasp)!

Penny's Out on the Town paper pack has a Damask in it. I'm not sure how easy it would be to change it to brown and blue (it's B&W).....



Out the Town Again has a damask too

That kit is one of my favorites EVER. So even if you don't get it for your cards, you still need it Stephanie. LOL

You know what... I already have it La... I may use it too as it does go well with Marley's dress (which is why I picked that one) but I love that damask... maybe I could recolor... hmm...

Do you have the SSD Fresh and Festive collaboration that was available for a limited time at the beginning of the year? It has a blue and brown damask paper in it. Here is a layout I did using the paper:

That's EXACTLY what I need Jenny- the color looks REALLY close. If not, I found some free damask brushes I could TRY (not a big brush user, so it could be disasterous!)

But can you believe I already have all three kits suggested and either didn't see them or couldn't sort through my stash fast enough? Guess I need to stop buying and start scrapping! Gotta love SSD! Thanks girls!

First, Holly- LOVE the profile pic- Steeler fans here too (today was sad and hubby was mad at them...) anyway...

Ok... so here's my attempt (perhaps a blatant rip-off, but I'll credit anyone who asks of where I lifted the design idea from, so that's ok, right?) Fresh and Festive was PERFECT!
