BLOG Question

can somebody send me in the right direction to get some BLOG help...I would like to start a blog to be able to share with my family, but haven't got a CLUE where to start...plus I want to be able to add all my LO's and pics on there mostly....so any help would be greatly appreciated in advance

If you want a free one I'd go with blogger (blogspot). Wordpress is free too but not as customizable IMO

If you want to pay for one there's typepad. If you have a domain/website already you can install wordpress software on it and blog from there.

Agreed - I use Blogspot. I think it's run by Google? And I love google products!

Just go to www.blogspot.com and it's pretty user-friendly from the start!

If you have somewhere you can host it.. I'd go with wordpress-- It's what I use (and in fact what we use here lol).. I like it because you can skin it easier (imo) however you want and pretty much tweak everything (well plus having 100% control over everything)
However.. if you want free.. go with blogger (blogspot or whatever.) IT's super easy & they have quick and easy templates you can use.

thanks....I like how everyone has their LO's scrolling on that little slide show, is that fairly easy to do and do my LO's have to be a certain size to get them uploaded? thanks again

Angie, it's SO easy to do. I have it on my blog in a few posts (like here)....if you go to a blog with it, just click on the "Make Your Own Slideshow" that shows up on it. Then you just have to create an account, upload images, pick the style you want and voila!

Then it gives you a code to add to your blog for it to show up there.

www.slide.com does the slide shows. You can upload yor photos to them or they can use photos hosted at Photobucket, Flickr, Facebook or MySpace.
