Birthday Invites

Normally I make my son's invites and mail them all out. This year, he just wants a Chuck E Cheese party, nothing more than what they do. Since its in the town we live, no family will be here, just work friends of mine with their kids. Is it ok in this case to use eVites?

The invitations we get are about 2/3 paper and 1/3 Evites. I'd say it's fine.

I've mostly gotten paper invites. For awhile there, I had friends doing the evites but not lately. I did paper invites just cause it's easier to get to the parents at my son's school without trying to track down email addys (plus designing his invites ). But if evites are easier, then by all means go for it

I've never gotten an evite. How funny is that? The kids give out invitations at school so it is easier to make invites but if you have all the email addys then I don't see a problem with it!

Thanks, guys! I went with the evites. I just sent them on facebook to everyone since they are all on my facebook. He's a kindergartner and its the beginning of the school year so we haven't gotten the friend thing set up yet there and we have no family in the town we live in. Its just us and my work friends who are like family to me.

I actually prefer getting evites! I always forget to RSVP right away and I love how they send out a little party reminder thingie. I have never sent them out myself though.... I should!
