#6 journal challenge - tell a story about a transition or change. My youngest is not liking the fact that I no longer teach her church class. I've been called to the youth classes now, where my oldest girl is. It's an adjustment for all of us, but I'm trying to teach my little one that change can be a good thing.
#12 - Nothing says school like a ruled paper for a background. My girls started the last term of the school year this week, it's crazy that we're almost done with school for this year.
#21: getting wordy with it by using lots of words on your page - if you know anything about me then you know I'm not much of a journaler. I just am not good at it. I tried to get out of my comfort zone here and wrote lots of journaling about my sweet, little Leo.
#12 rule the school...use lined paper as background
Heather's new school kit was perfect for this photo of my son starting his loads of 6th grade homework.
#20 Fall Colors - Since we really don't have fall colors in Florida, I take every opportunity to match fall colors to something, anything in my photos. For this page, I was wearing purple, so I used Melissa's gorgeous purpley fall kit!
17 -- Scrap with the open house freebies -- I sooooo loved the Open House Freebies! The kit was so much and I was so excited to use the boy parts on a page with my little guy, Jasper!
#4 - Indian Summer: It's getting cooler here in Beijing, but not cool enough to call it sweater weather. So we are still wearing short sleeves these days.
Instead of going with a sports- or nautical-themed kit for these pictures, I went with a more general summer kit that had colors that went so well with the colors in my photos. I used the plaid to bring all the colors in the pics and the kit together.
I love to write, I sometimes feel a little weird having people read what I write because I'm not some kind of profound writer or anything, but nothing soothes my soul quite like getting my thoughts out into words. It doesn't always make sense, it just flows out of my brain. But it feels so good!
More gorgeous inspirations from my fellow babes! There's still a few days left for you to finish your bingo challenges to earn a black out or bingo prize!
I had to think about the Must See TV prompt for a bit, as I really haven't had time to watch anything, and thought of doing a "why I'm not watching TV right now" page, but then my daughter got a Paw Patrol stuffy and I knew I had to do a page with that! (We'll call the police and construction kit I got for it an investment, given my little boy!)
