My life has been chaos lately, so I'm running late with getting this week's Bingo with the Babes thread moved for you girls to take part in, but check out the team's awesome pages below and let us know how you're doing with this month's challenges so far!

Are you aiming for blackout this month?

#2: Use black as your background paper
I just love what you can do to make your paint and papers stand out by using a black background. I feel like black really draws your eyes to the important parts of a layout.

There are so many good challenges this month I couldn't decide so I decided to combine two: #23 - No Alphas & #2 - Use Black As Your Background Paper. An easy title option for no alpha? Use a wordy bit! This one from Spec-tacular! from Digilicious Design was just perfect for these photos.

#16: Words to Live By. "Collect Moments, not Things." As a scrapbooker, these words really resonate with me because the pages that capture those special moments in life are always the most treasured.

#11 : beautiful chaos... I love to lay down an abundance of chaos while working on a digital art journaling page. Placing and playing with all of those layers of paint, brushes and masks quiets my mind.

#16 : words to live by... like Judie, the sentiment captured by Rachel's latest kit is incredibly meaningful to with me. "Collect moments not things" ... it's good, sound advice and worthy of reflection.

#5 Hint of Mint
This is honestly one of my favorite colors, and love the pop it gives this awesome kit!

I'm 8 pages from a blackout, not having Internet is good for me, I should have them all done by the time it's fixed lol

Actually surprised that I've completed this many so far...

Challenge #16 - words to live by

Challenge #19 - "The way I see it, you should live every day like it's your birthday." - Paris Hilton

Challenge #6 - triangles

Challenge #21 - the rest is still unwritten

Challenge #4 - chalk it up

Challenge #20 - K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple, Sweetie!

Challenge #1 - pumpkin everything

Challenge #5 - hint of mint

Challenge #9 - "obsessed"

I'm aiming for blackout again this month and this time I decided to make layouts by order from 1 to 24 :) So far I've done 1 to 9.

#1 - Pumpkin everything
I really love Amber's kit so when I saw that challenge on the card I knew I had to use that kit :)
Halloween is not celebrated here but I really love it so my family decided to give it a try a few years ago :)

#2 - Use black as your background color.
Since I wanted to use this kit which is positive, I decided to use patterned paper in the back for some added happiness to the whole black composition :)

#3 - all dressed up.
That's my Halloween costume from last year. We celebrated it at work (English language school) because we organized a special event for the children as part as our Anglo-American programme. My idea for this page was to extract myself and hang the extraction to look like a puppet.

#4 - Chalk it up!
I love this kit and when I saw that beautiful card, I decided to use black brush on top of it and make the text chalked. I think it turned out well.

#5 - A hint of mint.
I really loved Jacinda's idea for the hint of mint prompt where she suggested to highlight some words but I also love this kit of Brook's. So I decided to use my gypsy-looking pic, extract a bit and make a fun page and still use Jacinda's idea. I really think there's just "a hint" of that minty color and I'm happy with the result.

#6 - Triangles.
The patterned paper of this kit are really inspiring so I knew they would look good in triangles. The composition was impulsive and quick.

#7 - Scraplift SugarBabe MommaTrish
Ok, I looked at Trish's gallery and saw an "about me" page with that poster-like, contour photo effect which I liked. It's not a copy-paste lift, it's more of "inspired by" lift.

#8 - Notebook/Ledger paper.
I used a notebook element and ledge paper here and again I kind of did Jacinda's suggestion to use the notebook as journal. I wrote the story behind the photo and wanted the page to look like a diary put on surface.

#9 - "Obsessed"
I'm really obsessed with the city of Berlin, Germany. My husband and I go there almost every year because we're in love with it. Our first ever trip abroad (I mean together) was exactly to there and we really love going back and again and again :)

I'm struggling to get going this month... too much nice summery weather so I just want to be outside! Not sure I'll get a blackout but I'll I see how I go.

Starts with the letter "S":

A few more...

Challenge #11 - beautiful chaos

Challenge #8 - notebook or ledger paper

Challenge #3 - all dressed up

October Bingo Challenge #9 - obsessed

On the photo is Cali from the Cirque Du Soleil Show Amaluna. He's half-man, half-lizard. He's one of the main characters on the show and he's obsessed with Miranda, the shows main character. He wants to protect her.

I've got my first blackout ever and so early in the month but I have no Internet until the end of the week to start uploading the rest of my pages.

I had a really hard time with this challenge.
