#2: Use Black as Your Background Paper. I love creating with bright colors on a dark background because the elements just seem to pop right off the page. Another cool trick is to blend a dark background into a lighter background for a reverse-vignette effect. Of course, the dark background is just perfect for Halloween pages!

#6 Triangle ~ I love shapes on pages and wanted to step out of my comfort zone and do a page with triangles. I recreated THIS layout by JJChris, after I saw it on pinterest. I love all the triangles in this layout and the colors are gorgeous! I had so much fun with all these triangles.

#2: Use black as your background paper. I generally choose neutral backgrounds, nothing too bold, patterned or dark. I love how this turned out though, the vibrant colors really pop against the black.

#11 Beautiful Chaos
I love using paints, scribbles, and scatters to make my pages look more interesting. I enjoy the more artistic look they give to plain backgrounds and they add splashes of color. I rarely shy away from using every paint and scatter included in a kit on a single page. I layer them on top of each other to give it more interest and look realistic - as if I just stamped and painted it myself.

#23 - No Alphas | I love word strips so this one was an easy one - just used word strips for my title instead!

#20 Keep It Simple, Sweetie. Sometimes less really is more. I kept my page design simple, with very few embellishments, and found a quote that helps me keep perspective in my role as a mother. I do what I can, and leave the rest to God.

Pumpkin everything - oh, I love pumpkins and when I saw all the great pumpkin products at Trader Joes - I just had to take photos!! :)

No alpha - sometimes the word art in the kit says it better than the title I can build!

#22 - I <3 Lists

I love scrapping lists but sometimes I find it difficult to compose a page with lists so I pulled inspiration from Lynnette's faves pages over the years and did a short list of the best things about fall. I love the result!

Gorgeous pages by the babes!
My new ones for this week, obsessed and chalk it up:

Beautiful pages ladies!

October Bingo Challenge #7 - Scraplift Sugarbabe MommaTrish

#22 - I love lists

#23 - No alphas

#17 - from a distance
This photo was taken from a distance while I was enjoying the view from the balcony in a museum :)

#16 - words to live by

#15 - Must see TV

#14 - Leaves
I tried to use leaves from all seasons and to embellish them with coordinating flowers. At first, this was going to be a photoless page but then I decided to add a photo of my dog because the page doesn't call for a pet pic and so I thought it'd be fun ;)

Here are a few I've done.

Chalk it up:

Pumpkin everything:

Notebook or ledger paper:

No alphas:

Triangles:

Here are my last few... I didn't think I'd make it this month!!
