I completely suck and forgot to move this thread full of awesome inspiration for our Bingo challenges, so if you're working today, here's some incredible last minute inspiration from our amazing team!!
I don't know why but I love a good challenge that mixes kits. Probably because it's so far outside my comfort zone and every once in awhile I like to push myself to try something new. So I knew I wanted to try this challenge. Admittedly, I didn't use huge parts of both kits, but I knew I wanted to journal about sitting through a lockdown drill at my son's school when he was in kindergarten. I used Kristin & Zoe's Life Stories: School and Libby's Enter Night kit from last Halloween. It felt good to write about and it was fun trying to decide how I wanted to put this page together.
I LOVE stars on my pages, and usually use them for boys, since I don't use as many flower for them, but this kit stole my heart, and I loved using it for this Tumbling Star!
#6 - Use filters on your photo. I love to use filters on photos, but I don't do it that often on my scrapbook pages. I thought this one could use a little something though to help add to the feel of the theme of the page I wanted to make. I really like how it all came together!
I did challenge #7. I am struggling with being creative lately, so a lift is really what I needed to get a page done this week. I loved lifting a page from Zoe because I admire her style so much!
#14 Round & Round - There's just something about a circle. They can be more than a mat or shape element they can be a great composition tool, a fun way to add mood and draw the eye.
6 - use filters on your photos... I don't used a lot of filters on my photos because I like all the little details that the photos add to the "story," however my son's Christmas Pjs were clashing with the kit I wanted to use! haha
#21 - Florals and Stripes - As a mom of girls flowers are almost always on my layouts. I love the look of stripes on background paper, it gives contrast without being too busy.
