#22 photography challenge: close up - I always love taking close up photo of my dear son
 
#20 - Solid background paper. This was pretty easy for me - probably 90% of my pages have solid backgrounds. I like to then add lots of paint, brushes and transfers to make it more interesting!

 
#12 Use a photostrip on your layout.

Cindy's newest template was perfect for this challenge. I love photostrips for showing special items as part of the larger story.

#11 - Scrap on the diagonal. I almost always have my pages straight up and down, so it was nice to change it up and go diagonal for once.

9. Think Green: Recycling.

Recycling is just so part of our lives that I really don't take many photos of it... however when I saw this prompt, it reminded me of the only time we took our cans to the can machine instead of the live person to recycle them. It was not a great experience... the machine jammed all the time and there were so many bees!!

 
#4 Library/Bookstore Visit
Some months I like to twist and interpret a challenge creatively, and some months a prompt just jumps out at me exactly as it is and tells the story for me. This month was the latter and it was fun going "back in time" to tell this story!

 
#12 use a photostrip on your layout.
I love the look of photostrips, and I love using them on my pages. I used two of the similar sized frames from On A Whimsical Adventure's new frame set and joined them together with another picture with a white border to create a fun torn up photostrip for this page.

 
#11: Scrap on the Diagonal

I love how anchoring the corners of this page really grounded the design. The diagonal flow is also a refreshing change from my normal horizontal design.

March Bingo Challenge #6 - When you struck gold.

He struck gold when he won a basket in a facebook competition. He loves to snuggle in it.

Currently Watching: We're addicted to this, been watching it all the weekends since January, these are most of the films we have seen so far.



Feeling Lucky: (Note if you're sensitive to blood do not watch, some included in the pics)
DS thought he was very lucky as he was going to get big money from his grandpa now that he has increased the amount of $ since his younger grandchild (his favorite) started loosing teeth LOL And it is the tooth mouse here not the tooth fairy.

 
So my take on "currently watching" is a bit different. I am currently watching for signs of spring, but I'm not having much luck lately! Boo for March snow storms!
