The signs included in this Boo Boo kit were perfect to use on a layout about my daughter's broken arm

I love to blend a big photo to my page to add a dramatic flare in it!
 
#7 - Blending
I love Captivated Visions' kits and part of what I love is being able to blend several of her papers together along with doodles and paint to make a unique background. Here is used a simple Blending: Multiply to create the background.
 
#4 Superhero
I have so many unscrapped photos of my little guy in his superhero costumes, that I knew when I saw this challenge that I had to go find them to scrap. This awesome new kit from Megs and Traci was just perfect for this challenge and for the photos.

We love superheroes around here! They are pretty much our favorite so I always jump at the chance to scrap a superhero page! This one is a bit symbolic <3

#7 - Technique: Blending
One of my favorite photo setups is to take a photo of the kids when we go hunting or just walking in the woods. I think the woods are a mysterious place that creates such a gorgeous backdrop. Here I wanted to use the setting as the background of the layout so I blended the photo with a wood paper.

#12: In honour of Prince's birthday, scrap with purple or prince lyrics. I like my backgrounds fairly light and neutral so would never make purple a dominant part of my page... but I like how the purple elements really pop on this page!

 
#4 - Superhero
Gone are the days when my would dress up like a superhero and pend his days fighting off all of the bad guys. He still loves these heros, but just doesn't feel like dressing up like them anymore. So I loved scrapping this memory and thinking back on his dress up days!!

I've been so busy recently, I had almost no time to scrap so my card has only 6 challenges completed . Now things are calming down and I hope I'll be able to scrap more. I want to finish the bingo card as well as take part in the olympic games.

#1 - Use lots of kraft.



#2 - use a fruit.



#4 - superhero
Ok, this is meant to be funny because my nephew had just dressed up and came to show off when the dog got super curious and even though he *the boy* is not afraid of her *the dog* AT ALL he somehow got worried about his costume and tried to avoid her hahah


#17 - scrap a page using 4 different SSD designers. In my case - a triple dip + brushes. I really like how the cloud brushes match the theme of the kit.

Those are photos from some of the things I enjoy during the summer break. I spend the season in the countryside in our villa where we have a big yard and I really enjoy all the blooms and greenery. Also, there's 4 birthdays we celebrate in June-August so I had to include it :) The BBQ nights are also something I do only in the summer because I normally live in an apartment (no yard) and grilling is impossible.
