21-In the Round

For this challenge I used several layered circles as the basis of the layout and then went crazy with my usual clustering. It's always fun to try something a little different!

 
# 23 - Primary Colors - I immediately thought of Kristin and Amanda's Excuse the Mess kit for this challenge. Most of the colors in my photos are the primary colors and this kit was perfect to scrap the moment of my little guy playing.

#5 Bits & Pieces. I worked this challenge into a school interview layout of my nephew. In it he shares little bits and pieces of his thoughts about school.

#1 : scrap with one of our new designers ... I'm such a huge fan of Captivated Visions and am so thrilled to have Rachel joining our SSD family.

 
#2 - Use one of the limited I <3 Collabs . All of these collabs have been amazing this summer, but I have to say that I LOVE the I Heart Sweet Shoppe Designs one a lot!! This place is my digi home and holds a special place in my heart, so it was fun to scrap a little bit about my love for SSD!!!

#18 Looking Back

As Seth's 8th Birthday approaches (August 31), I thought it would be fun to scrap one of his pictures from his 4th birthday photo shoot.

Scrap with a kit from one of our newest designers - For this challenge, I chose So Routine by Amanda Yi. Love the colour palette here. I chose a blocked design which makes for a quick memory page (and then I get to use all of the cute journal cards!).

Thinking I ought to have started earlier - 4 to go to get a pattern - 2 days left!
 
#13 school supplies... even though we homeschool, kiddo should still get to experience one of my favorite memories of school time! :)

 
Who else is trying to get some pages done last minute like me?? :)

Challenge #8: I love doing lifts and when I checked out the 8th page of the gallery, a page just leaped out at me. I love that!

#13 school supplies... We are not required to buy a lot of school supplies (most can be bought from the school) but we do love shopping for a new backpack and lunchbox every year
