We got married in June. We chose June because we were engaged in May and wanted to get married as quickly as possible and that's the soonest that hubby could get leave to fly back to the states (from Germany) to get married :)

We basically eloped. We decided to do it and waited only as long as it took for the marriage license. The month was just coicidence since it wasn't planned.

we got married on january 16th - two weeks after we were engaged :) we were going to do it one week earlier, but my SIL (our witness) had something to do that morning so we pushed it back one week :)

We got married in July....I was a teacher and wanted to wait until school was out for the summer. July 9 was one of the few dates that we could get everything reserved (photographer, mansion site for reception, music, etc....) We had originally picked June 25 but someone beat us to the mansion by a day!!!

October... It was 9 months after our engagement. Not sure why we waited so long, I think it had something to do with me finishing a semester of school, time to find a house together, move, etc.

October, waiting for hubby to graduate from college and I would NEVER get married in the summer in Texas... way too hot!

We got married in April, I wanted to get married on my great-grandparent's wedding anniversary. It was a bonus that I love spring.

September. We only picked that because it was when Jer was coming home from deployment and we knew he was going to be stationed overseas immediately after, and in order for me to go, we had to be married. Otherwise we would have waited a few more months, lol

October for us too. It was 7 months after we got engaged. We chose October because it's my favorite month - I loooove the fall!! It was a perfect fall wedding too!!

We got married in October. Dennis chose the date, his birthday, so he wouldn't forget our anniversary!

We have birthday's exactly one month apart, and we chose a wedding date right smack in between our birthdays. I'm not sure any deeper thought than that went into it.

Edited to add: My parents got married on Feb 21 because my mom figured my dad would never be able to forget because when he starts hearing all the ads for Valentine's Day, he'll know he has one week from then.

Aug. 31 - it was Labor Day weekend, and allowed my family/friends to make travel arrangements to get to FL where we got married (Russ was moving to TX after, so I thought it only fair we married there). This way, there's always a 3-day weekend built in for our anniversary.

We got married in April because it fit into my husbands deployment schedule (He was in the Marine Corps), and that worked out well since we wanted a Spring wedding and that worked out well since my parents got married in the Spring and I wanted to marry on their wedding anniversary (Im very close to them).... so there it was, April, it fit into all of the above perfectly and so we married on my parents wedding anniversary in the Spring inbetween husbands deployments. LOL!

We got married in August.... because it was between semesters at school. We both took classes in the summer that year. And summer (in utah) made it easier for my family to travel... as opposed to waiting until december. And we didn't need to wait any longer!

We got married in June. We got engaged in August, and having the wedding the next summer gave us enough time to plan everything.

We were engaged in February & married in August. I wanted enough time to plan my wedding, but I didn't want to wait too long, I was ready to get married! lol :)

We got married in July. We are from a farming community so July 11 was late enough to fall after wheat harvest was over but early enough that we'd have a little time before we started our final year of college in August. It worked well for us!

We had a long engagement because we wanted to save up for the wedding we wanted, and also my mom had passed away only 4-5 months before, so we didn't want any sudden changes, etc. Got engaged December 2004 and married January 2006. Figured a year would be enough time, lol. And I love that we start every new year with our anniversary (our wedding date is January 6th).

September for us. No reason really I guess - we had both been married before and just got married as soon as we could after deciding we were going to and could get our marriage license. We married 2 days before my bday so now we joke about that we did it so hubby could easily remember the important dates he needed to. ;)

We got married in March, because that's when our anniversary of being together was and I wanted him to only have to remember one date. lol

We got married on September 4th... it was the 2nd anniversary of our first date. My hubby will tell you that he got screwed by leap year. In October prior, I joked with him that wouldn't it be cool to get married on the anniversary of our first date... him thinking he had at least a few years before that was possible... agreed.... he didn't realize until afterwards that next Sept 4 was on Saturday... hahahaha!! He proposed a month later... and 10 mon later we were married. :)

September for us too.

It was between September and April. I was graduated in December and didn't want to live together before we were married, so we went with September and just lived apart until December.

July - DH's family had to travel from AZ to Joplin, MO, where we got married, so we wanted all the kids to be out of school. Plus, we wanted it around July 4th since AZ didn't have fireworks and we thought it would be fun for everyone. But standing up at the altar I sweated like a pig in my dress from the humidity. :p

We got married in May (memorial day weekend, actually). I was teaching school and this was the first weekend after school was over for the year. I was nervous about having to make up some snow days that year because it would have went into our honeymoon. Thankfully, we didn't have to do that!

We got married in July. I was still in school and it left me enough time to do an internship the first half of the summer, while still having time for the wedding and a honeymoon. If I hadn't been in school, I would have chosen a date in the fall.

July in AZ and it was 125 degrees that day. We got engaged over spring break, and DH had to take a couple summer courses so that he could graduate in 4 years after his major change. 07-06-07 glad we missed out on the 07-07-07 rush that happened on Saturday, and that gave us a whole weekend before second session of summer school started.

we knew he was going to be stationed overseas immediately after, and in order for me to go, we had to be married. Otherwise we would have waited a few more months, lol

This was us too. Adam proposed in September and we got married in December during the one week Adam had off between his Officer Basic Course and when he had to be in Korea. December wouldn't have been my ideal choice since I really wanted an outdoor wedding and even in CA, December is too unpredictable for that, but it worked out.

September here too.. no real reason.. we wanted to get married labor day weekend to make travel easier since the majority of my family is out of town but the church was booked so we just went to the next saturday.

We got engaged in October, told my mom we were going to Eureka Springs and she said no.
I'm her only daughter, so she wanted a wedding. We planned it in under a month and got married in November. :)

We got married on Memorial Day weekend in 2003....no real reason we picked that date. Maybe just because it was a long weekend. Who knows. LOL!
