I can't even wrap my brain around how these work but I keep seeing advertisements (and then read this article) and am totally intrigued.

Has anyone here used them? Know someone who does? How can they possibly work & be comfortable/not gross?
 
I've seen the ads and even visited the website a few times and I'm just confused by them. They market them like they'd replace your products but then when you read up on them they seem like a glorified pantyliner? I can't figure out what I'd gain by spending the money on them.
 
They sound.... strange. I mean, I can understand the appeal from an environmental perspective (I'm a cup user partly for that reason, but use disposable nappies/diapers on my babies so go figure!). Essentially they sound like an adult swim diaper that doesn't swell up when it's wet?
 
First time I heard of those... I just want to ask the blogger and whoever made these: wwhhyyy???

I actually know people who have tried them and love them and say they are not gross and work great. I am going to buy a pair to try out because although I hate pads, these are not supposed to be bulky at all and almost like regular underwear. There is a description on the web site on how they work. I worry about all of the toxins in tampons as well as TSS so I'm willing to give this a try. At the very least, it will be nice on light days so I don't have to wear a pantyliner. I seriously despise the feel of them so much that was my least favorite part of being post-partum.
 
I've been wondering about them, too. Even though I have an IUD, I still get it every month and sometimes it likes to drag out super light for days, I was wondering if these would be good for those days. I hate pantyliners and pads.
 
Intrigued for sure. I'm so tired of feeling like my period is some horrible taboo thing. If there's something that can make it feel less icky and more no biggie, I'd give it a whirl. The $34 per pair price tag is pretty brutal though : /
 
My first thought was no way!! But I am curious how they work. Surprised that they gave such a good review without explaining how they work.
 
Maybe it's just me, but I don't see much information on how it actually works. It's just a bunch of models wearing underwear ... the concept doesn't bother me too much (admittedly, a little bit) and I actually think the price is ok, considering how much we spend on feminine hygiene products. I'll probably just stick with what I'm used to, lol.
