Beads/string

My girlies were making necklaces this morning, they were stringing beads. The string they have is that clear plasticy/stretchy stuff. Of course, I can't tie a knot in it because it just slips out. Any idea how I can get the ends to stay together? I was thinking a hot glue gun, but I can't find mine. Any suggestions?

If you make 2 knots and pull it REALLY tight, it'll stay.

Are you sure Col? I dont' want to have to pick up 75million beads if it breaks

It won't break. When I was a kid we used to make all kinds of things with that plastic stuff, and I never once broke it. It's really strong.

I would do the same....I made those for my niece and she whips it all over the place, flings it in the air, drops it on the floor....it's all good!!!!!

yep, tie 2 knots and pull REALLY tight and it is good cass makes these all the time but doesn't wear them much. she gives them away to her friends...rotfl!

Yep - 2 knots. And pull it title from the circle, not from the hangy bits - that's what will get it really tight.
