Happy Holidays to all!
Let's see what the last month of 2024 will bring us...

change in the weather: then one foggy (Christmas) eve...

trimming the tree: our finished tree

low light or back light: we went to a candle light event where they had this as well

wrapped with care: so many presents under the tree, the dog had a hard time taking care.

out in the yard: love this sparkling fairy tree in our neighborhood

silver and/or gold: our tree topper

filled with joy: my daughter and a friend on their way to London

bah humbug: he was not impressed with his new tower

favorite ornament: years ago I got this camera from my daughter

our holiday best: on Christmas Day my daughter and her girlfriend were nicely dressed up.

what did you get?: a nice hamper from my work

multiple generations: my mother, my husband and my sister at the candle light event

a toast: a nice drink to celebrate the victory of the knights after the (dinner) show at the Efteling.

low light or back light. Neighborhood Santa came driving by this weekend and dropped some candy for the kids

wrapped with care. so many presents to wrap

silver and/or gold. Grandpa's wife brought some tinsel so the girls could make and decorate their own little tree.

filled with joy. We spent some time making snowflakes as a family.

bah humbug. this guy has been acting up, trembling, crying and howling. Then he came on my lap! He never does that! What is going on with him?

favorite ornaments. These represent our family. Beer for my husband, snowflake ornament given by a student when I was teaching French, pickle for our daughter
nicknamed Pickles before she was born, Ham for our daughter nicknamed Hams before she was born, Nugget for our daughter nicknamed Nugget before she was born and a French Bulldog for Gaston our Frenchie.

what did you get? one of my daughter lost her tooth this weekend. The tooth fairy forgot to come!

No winner for december?

Also sad that you are not continuing this for the new year (but understandable with only 2 or 3 participants every month). I thought it was fun to revisit all the photos and snapshots I took during the month and see if I could add them to a certain category/prompt.
