background layering

I've seen a few layouts recently (but can't find them now, of course) with the whole background layered with papers. Does that make sense? I'm just wonder if there is a template or if it was just done as is. I love the look but haven't had much luck reproducing it I'm finding mine just don't look as good. LOL

I have that set, Andrea. Love it too, but it isn't what I've seen recently. They've been layered across the whole page, more like that first layout from Darcy. Thank you though.
