Our skating club has an awards banquet at the end of the year, and this year was my last year here after 9 of the last 13 years here. We are moving 6 hours West at the end of the school year.
Some of the older girls, I have been coaching for many years, some of them I was there when they got on the ice for the first time years ago. So tonight, they gave me a gift.
It was a handmade scrapbook. :thumbup:
They could not have given me a better gift, all the pages were made by the girls themselves (age 10 to age 16), and they had so many photos I didn't even know existed. Funny moments we've shared, and some of the silly things they've done. It was so wonderful, I will cherish it forever. I will post a couple of pics tomorrow, when I can take them without the flash.
What great girls I have, I will miss them all so much.
