Asking for P&PT for one of "my girls"

When we lived in Tuscon, I was in charge of the girls' youth group in our Church (girls age 12-18). That was about 8 years ago, so a lot of "my girls" have grown up and gotten married, etc. I just found out that one of them gave birth to twin girls on Wednesday at only 24 weeks. The babies are only 1 lb 3 oz. and 1 lb 4 oz. They are stable right now - but still critical. I'm sure they will be in the hospital for a long time even if everything goes well. Mom's name is Tina. The girls' names are Kaylee and Kristine. If anyone can spare a thought or prayer for these babies and their mom and dad, I would appreciate it so much!

Praying for those sweet babies. It hits pretty close to home right now. Keep us updated!

thinking of them...one of my girlfriends had her sone at 24 wks and he weighed less than 2 lbs and is now a running, can't keep up with toddler!!!

Just an update for those of you that were so kind to pray for Tina and her girls:

Tina osted this on FB today, "Kaylee and Kristine turned 1 month old this past weekend-we couldn't be happier! They both graduated to a vent called the cpap now which is better for their lungs, and it means that I can hold them! They are opening their eyes now, and have fallen in love with their pacifiers. Kaylee hit the 2 pound mark yesterday, and Kristine is only a few ounces behind--they are getting so big! Both girls are doing great on their feeds and are feisty little ladies who aren't afraid to make their preferences known :) These miracle babies have definitely felt the outpouring of prayers offered on their behalf-thank you for that!!!"

I'm so happy for their progress. She also posted the sweetest pic of her having skin-to-skin time with one of the girls. Those babies are so tiny . . . it was just the sweetest thing!

Oh, that's amazing, Lydia!!! Sorry I missed this the first time--praying still for those lil sweethearts! I hope they get to leave the hospital soon!
