Thank you very much everyone...he's home now and we've just settled back into life hopefully. It's unreal sometimes when I think that he's been gone over a year...but I'm not going to dwell on that anymore. When Avery woke up and came downstairs this morning, the first the he asked was "where's Daddy?" b/c Brian is still sleeping. I told him that Daddy was still here and he asked, "is he staying forever?" and this time I got to say Yes! :)
 
Im so happy for you and you family!! It is got to be a relieveing feeling knowing he is home for good and you wont have to deal with anymore deployments!!
 
Well, he could be deployed again...they're on a 5 year rotation right now for DC..but he could get transferred at any time and have to go overseas again. I just hope and pray that doesn't happen.

I've been touched by the LOs and journaling you've done during his time away. I don't know how you survived. So glad he's back safe and sound now;)

Aww that's so cute.

I asked my 4 year old where daddy was to see what he'd say and he said "At the airport".

Apparently my husband spends M-F at the Cleveland Airport. :D
 
YAY Nikki, ENJOY your time together!! I appreciate your dh and you for what you both do for our country, for without your support it would be harder for him to be there...BIG TEXAS HUGS
