I hope you had a good weekend, what you have been up to?

My Sister and her Husband are visiting this weekend so I've been trying to do some extra housework and get on top of my laundry. Is it just me or does anyone else find that their laundry seems to be breeding?!!

I would love to learn some fun tricks for incorporating photos into artful pages. I love seeing art journal pages with cool photo treatments!
 
Awesome! Love art journaling.

I always seem to get hung up on the layering/shadowing part. I get stuck on some old fashioned 'rules' I have in my head. For example: How to use stamps (or paint) that are partly on a piece of paper and partly on the background? I love this 'over', tumbling off the edge look , but how do you shadow the paper?

I typically only shadow paint if it has a 'goopy' look or texture, but would love your ideas!

I'd love to see tips/tricks to show how blending layers and playing with opacity on papers, stamps and paint can really help add rich textures and depth to digital art journaling backgrounds.
