ARGH!

I've had issues with my school laptop for the better part of the year, so I finally got an updated one..... but I just realized that this one won't read any CD's..... so I can't load my copy of PSE10. OMG. Of course my free trial of PSE11 just ran out.... so now I'm screwed. :cursing:

Any brilliant suggestions out there?? This is really the LAST thing I needed today.

Do you have access to an external optical drive that can connect via USB? See if you can find one of those . . . even if you just borrow it long enough to get your software loaded.

HUGS!! That IS a pain!

Or! Can you download it from Adobe and then just enter your serial number or whatever? I bet if you talked to Adobe Customer Service, they could help you out . . . they are usually pretty good.

Yeah, I was going to say if there's a serial number on your CD, you might be able to download a trial version online and then just input it in.

Worth a shot.... I will call them. The only problem is that my version is PSE10, and the download online is for PSE11.

So, I decided that I would try to install my PSE10 with the disk I have before I called Adobe... AND IT WORKED! I have no idea why it wouldn't read a music CD, but this one worked..... so I'm a happy woman tonight!
