Are you working on your 2009 calendar?

In January, I vowed I would keep up with doing the pages for my 2009 calendar so I wouldn't be frantically doing them all after Thanksgiving.

and here it is, April . . . I have not done a thing . . . :thumbdown:

What about you guys?
 
Hahaha I'm DEFINITELY on that wagon too Mimi, lol.
Maybe I'll force myself to work on them next week. I have a few photos that I KNOW I want to use....
 
I've made the same vow for 2 years now - frantically did the ones for 2007 & 2008. Maybe we need a sweetshoppe calendar challenge? hint hint :p
 
Me too! I have been thinking about getting Dani and Shawna's AYOM calendar kit. I need to pick out my favorite photos each month and drop them into these now so I won't have to dig back through my pics in November or December.

Hmm... this could be a great idea for a post at the girl talk blog...
 
I know for a little bit Penny was creating pages and giving them on her blog as a freebie.

I'll start this next week. Too much to do this week, lol.
 
Um, no. LOL!

It's a great idea, but the thought hadn't even occurred to me. I tend to use templates (usually from Shabby Princess), so they're a breeze to do at the end of the year. If I made them from scratch, they'd never get done.
 
I've never done one before, but was thinking it would be a great gift for my MIL for Christmas this year! A challenge for it would be neat!
 
I haven't done one before either, but keep thinking about it everytime I see Penny's blog freebies. I think a challenge would be awesome!
 
I did a paper one a couple years ago when I was a full fledged paste eater... it was a nightmare! I was up to my elbows in paper and sticky tabs for over a week.

Maybe I'll take a stab at a digi one now that I've SEEN THE LIGHT, lol!
 
I don't do a calendar, but I do a yearly photobook with a 2-page spread for each month. So, basically the same idea. It would be so, so SO much better if I kept up with it all year! Thanks for the reminder!

another great idea! Man, its days like this when I really feel like this job gets in the way of my scrapping ideas! Of course without the job I couldn't pay the electricity and it would sure be hard to scrap without that LOL
 
I made 2 calendars as gifts last christmas and they turned out great. I made all my own pages and put the persons pic on the page if their b-day was that month.....If there were NO b-days I just put random family photos on the page. I really love the way it turned out and my father has already hinted he wants another one for next year!!!!! I guess I better get to work. I think I want to just do random pics this year and fill in the b-days instead.....
 
I thought about doing that, but my style changes now and then - so I could end up with a calender with 12 different styles :) So I am saving mine for later this year (like 3 weeks before christmas LOL)

ack, don't give me reasons to procrastinate MORE.

actually my worry is that I'll do my calendar pages all nice and early and then in November really fabulous kits will come out and I'll want to re-scrap my pages.
 
I have both of the yearly collections (365 and A Year of Memories) from here. But then I also buy the seasonal kits. So mine ends up being a total mish mash, but it's still mine and my creations. So I try not to stress.

If I was really good, I'd have my christmas cards done already :p (Yes, I already know what picture I'll be using, lol)

ETA: Mimi, even if really awesome kits to do come out, you'll have the bulk of the pages done. So you can rescrap 2 or 3 instead of having to do 12, kwim?
 
ha ha, do you really believe that I'd re-scrap my pages . . . i'm too lazy!!!

i do total mish mash too. for my 2008 I scrapped some new and tweaked some layouts I had already done.
 
I think I said I was going to do that too, but I haven't started any of them yet! For my 2008 calendars I used Heather Ann's calendar QP's and really liked the way they came out so I will probably just end up doing that again!
