Are you guys having trouble with downloads?

Hey guys,

I know a lot of you did some shopping in the shop over the weekend and I was wondering if you are having trouble downloading and unzipping your purchases or if everything is working as normal.

I've received several mails from people today saying they are having problems with their files downloading in 2 seconds and then being empty or corrupt or downloads hanging up in the middle. SO I am trying to find out how wide spread the problem is and who it is effecting.

If you guys could let me know what your experience has been since Saturday, that would be great!

I didn't get much from here but it was fine for me - both d/l and unzipping.

Did they tell you which files? Did they have trouble w/all their d/ls or only certain ones?

I bought some stuff from The LilyPad yesterday and was having some trouble. I helped when I started d/l the products one at a time...for some reason when I clicked on a 2nd zip to d/l before the 1st was finished I would get 'messed up'. Though there still is one I wasn't able to get which I need to email them about.

I downloaded the May DAM and the first time it was corrupted, downloaded again and it was perfect. :) Figured it was just me!

I've found that I can't download when I've got a bunch of stuff open or if I am downloading a lot in a row. A lot of times it will say a file is corrupted but once I close down a few programs or shut down and reboot the same file downloads perfectly. I bet there was a lot of downloadin' goin' on after this weekend so maybe that is it.
 
I had no problems this weekend either. The Lily Pad was having serious issues, but The Sweet Shoppe was fine, for me at least!
 
Thanks so much guys...it seems like the "help me" emails have stopped so maybe it was just a glitch :) I appreciate you putting my mind at ease!

This happened sometimes at 4shared.
When you have too many pl downloading from a server things get a little complicated
 
i did have problems. . .but like Laurie, it seemed like when i closed some of my windows and went back in, i could finally get the files to download completely. thanks for resetting my links so that i could get the rest of my goodies!
 
I've had some trouble.... i've tried downloading a few a couple times...

figured I would finish everything then email...
I will let you know how I finish up!

Robin this happened to me all last night, it essentally took me all day to download it.. it was crazy, i finally got it, but i exhausted all my links doing it!
 
when I first tried to download the stuff, it was corrupted and i couldn't unzip it, but at the second time it worked :)
 
I just bought some stuff and the D/Ls seem to be fine. I unzipped 3 things and they are okay. I have to unzip 2 more items tonight. I'll keep ya posted.
