Awww, thanks Aggie. That really does make me feel better. I've got pretty tough skin, so this isn't too heartbreaking for me. But I cannot imagine the excitement from the girls that made it! Its such an coveted spot, that its a true honor to be picked. :)

Ack I didn't make it either. But that's ok, I'll be hanging out here at the Shoppe anyways. Can't get rid of me that easily! LOL I never take NO for an answer.

I didnt get it either but I bet if i hang around here more often participate a little more and get me some sweet friends I might make it in next time or even get an invite. This was i think third try for me as well.
 
Yeah, I actually ended up applying, but knew I didn't have a chance, and didn't make it. But that's ok, I know I have a way to go. I plan to take the next few months and get myself where I really want to be with my scrapping and try again. I just love this place, and can't imagine another gig I'd like more!

Off to scrap! :)

I didn't make it either, but it wasn't extremely disheartening because I figured there would be a ton of amazing applicants so I prepared myself to not be selected. It's still my dream gig and it makes me hopefully hearing about those of you that applied multiple times before landing it. :)
 
I didn't get in either (wasn't *really* thinking I would honestly - it's a tough gig to get!) but I have to say it was one of the nicest rejection letters I've received! :) Congrats to the girls that made it - I'm sure you are walking on air tonight! :D

Well, clearly Robin accidentally sent me that super sweet rejection letter...I know she's going to be kicking herself until she can make it right at the next call.

Another one here who didn't make it - I totally didn't expect it, but was disappointed nonetheless because this place is just too amazing!! Still my dream gig, will always be my dream gig. I'll apply 20 times if I have to (hopefully I don't have to do it THAT many times, ROFL!!). Congrats to the ladies that did make it....you all are absolutely amazing, I'm sure!!
 
Another rejected scrapper here, but I was so inspired by the let down letter. Robin you should start a business writing Dear John letters. (haha)

Thanks for opportunity to apply and I can't wait to continue to hang around and take part in the awesome challenges here at SSD!!!!

I applied knowing I wouldn't get a spot, but I had nothing to lose. I know I've got a lot of work to do on my scrappin, but I'll keep applying :) It's too sweet an opportunity to pass up!

In all seriousness...do you guys see the company you're in? There are some INCREDIBLE scrappers saying they didnt get the gig in this thread. You guys SOOOOO rock and I will never ever get tired of you applying. This decision was seriously SOO sooo hard! We love you ladies!!
