Are you an ONLINE scrapper?

I can't seem to scrap if I am not also on the internet. NO CLUE Why.
But say I go to my Mom's and hope to get some scrapping done since I won't be able to surf (she doesnt have internet ... I could dial up but it's sooooooo slow) ... anyways, I find that I can't get much done if I am not able to look at the scrap boards or show someone my progress. - lol
 
Hmmm... I always have Hello and Y!M up, but no one to chat to on it. I just discovered Facebook chat today which is pretty much going to save my life. So psyched. But yeah, I always have a couple windows open, too. Email at least and usually another digi or CT site that I'm browsing in between scrapping.

Maybe it's a having a uterus thing, but I have a hard time doing just ONE THING anytime!!
 
I don't know that I've tried NOT being online, but I suspect I would get a LOT more done if I didn't get disctracted! Like if I could just see galleries and such for inspiration maybe - but then I start reading blogs, the I have to see if anything is going on the in the forum - OH and better check my e-mail. Then dang it, the kids interupt and I've not scrapped a thing LOL
 
I'm always online too (even when I was on dialup, I paid to get a second line installed and got unlimited dialup so I could stay connected 24/7, lol)...but I DO find that if my internet goes down, I get a lot more done, since I get less distracted. ROFL!
 
Same. I mean...I have scrapped without internet, but it's not as fun. I need to take my eyes of the layout for a bit. Not to mention that I'm an instant gratification kind of gal. If I need something for a LO that I can't design myself in a hurry, then I'm hitting the stores!
 
I can scrap and not be online, this I know from experience (went 6 months without internet last year - it sucked, but I was able to do it ... probably cause I had nothing else to do with my time! heheee). But I much prefer being online while scrapping.
 
at least I am not the only one LOL I always though it was sad that I needed to get feedback on my work in progress.

The one thing I CAN do while not online is do my Hybrid projects. It is too hard to try to be online and cut and glue at the same time.
 
I actually scrap better if I focus, but I rarely have that opportunity! LOL!

Are you guys mostly using Hello or Goober?
 
I don't have a HELLO thingy set up yet but I am thinking about it.......I always have SSD open as well as a few others.....Can't scrap if they are not up either!!!!!
 
Honestly, if I didn't have internet, I wouldnt scrap. LOL
I know thats bad but if I can't share my artistic stuff with others, whats the point? My family could really care less. LOL!
 
Me too! I'm almost always on Hello while I'm scrapping. I go to Firefox and hit refresh on a few pages I have open then go back to scrapping LOL
 
I feel a lot less creative scrapping without the internet too....so strange. :) I think mostly it's the problem that if I'm without internet, I'm also without the majority of my scrap stash and only have a few kits or something specific- I like to take things from lots of different places. lol

I feel like I have a million messangers! LOL! I have to have AIM on for work, and then I have hello and goober, but I don't have any of you guys loaded in hello yet.... It's no wonder 3 GB of Ram isn't enough for me is it?
 
I'm always alternating between scrapping and surfing. When we visit my inlaws and I have a week in a hotel room with no internet access, I get so much done! I need to make myself scrap offline more.
 
I love to be online while I scrap so I can peruse galleries looking for inspiration, or shops for new products.
 
Yep! I totally can't paper scrap anymore! I had a work laptop for the last 8 years and when I got laid off it went with my job! :( I used to always bring the lappy down the basement with me, sometimes to chat, sometimes for typing instructions as I made altered stuff, sometimes to look for inspiration and now I can't be online down there. My computer is upstairs. I totally hate it if I'm not online while scrapping! LOL!
 
OMG!! This is so true with me too. I CAN scrap without being online but I rarely get anything accomplished unless I'm online!! LOL
 
I don't chat but I do surf. I find I am more likely to do something if I am ignoring something else to do it. I scrap more efficiently if I read some forums & then go back to scrapping feeling like I am virtuously putting off my websurfing in favor of scrapping. :)

I have Hello and YIM but I have so few people to talk to I rarely open them.
