absolutely EVERYONE is getting a photo book this year - we are travelling the 1000kms to be with our family and they are all getting books for a few reasons: a) made with luuuuurve lol b) we lack storage in the car so the books wont take up much room c) if one gets one everyone has to or there will be whining on Chrissie Day d)total lack of imagination on my part, I am hopeless at buying gifts

so all up Ive had 13 books printed - I pick up some tomorrow and there's just one more to pick up after that YAY!

How did your photosession go Marla?? And HUGS Jenn, hope your foot is paining you less xx And YAAAY Jennifer, feels good when you're on top of the Chrissie gifts huh!!

Marla, that's hilarious about the cookie/Colby not buying anything. Sounds totally like Brandon, too.

Donna, photobooks are such a great idea, and TOTALLY made with love (and a lot of stress on your part! But they don't have to know that LOL)

All is fine here. Busy. Went to the mall last night...just DH and me, and it totally affirmed my hatred of malls. I wanted to claw my eyes out. No wait. I wanted to claw SOMEONE ELSE'S eyes out.

Donna, you are so ambitious to do so many photobooks!

My foot's doing better in general. It's been raining for a few days and the weather change makes my aches worse in general, so that wasn't fun. Yesterday I had to take the boot off so I could shower(I got tired of trying to wash my hair in the tub) and I wore some heavy flip flops to help keep from slipping...yeah, I slipped once I was out of the bathroom and attempting to sit down to get dressed.

I will be really shocked when I go in next week if they let me lose the shoeboot.
 
Yep, hubby told me last night that his siblings are all exchanging presents... Looks like I will be going to Hobby Lobby on Saturday for something easy... (wall cross, vase, decoration of some sort.) We made a new deal- he's responsible for his brother, dad, and gpa. I'm doing mom, grandma, sister, and brother's gf. The boys probably won't get gifts. lol.
 
Well, I ::finally:: sat down to design my cards last night and ordered them! Picking them up late today! I feel behind this year, eeek!
 
finally after two weeks of waiting and endless phone calls today I am officially registered for a subsidised gym program (I am going to go to a facility that offers both gym and swimming) - I'll be starting after new years
 
we keep almost letting the thread die. that is horrible of us. this thread MUST make it to 2012...we must make it last 6 months, we only have 5 months into the thread as of tomorrow....
 
oh, and for those longtime TKG: MY STUPID CAR IS HAVING ISSUES AGAIN!

RAWR! It's been acting up since before thanksgiving, but I wanted to get through that holiday before I took it in again. I've barely driven it since then because of my broken foot, and today while we were out shopping, the check engine light came on AND it almost died doing the same crap as before again. We're taking it in first thing monday morning probably :( they were already closed today by the time we drove past.

Lemon law? Seriously, how annoying.

We had lunch with my Dad's brother and sister (plus my parents, gpa, sisters, and two cousins) today and then went shopping in the big city. I think we are just about down with Christmas shopping. I've just got to bake a ton of gifts and get everything wrapped up. :)

My first wedding anniversary is on Friday. I'm pretty excited about that, too.

I have had my own RAWR moment this week . . to start with, I thought I had done my nephews photo book in the first 'round' back in November . . just went to wrap them all last week and went AAARGH - I hadnt included his book in the order!! So ok, no worries, I did it last week and got it sent to my sisters in NSW so she could pick it up.

It arrived a week early, and she went to get it . . only to find when she got home that IT WASNT MY BOOK!!!! *sigh*. It had my delivery details but it was someones elses book with all pics of old people apparently . . .

Can you believe it?? Now they are going to try and 'rush it through' as Christmas is a-comin . . . GRRRR RAWR GRRRRR

Glad everyone is organised for Chrissie, I WAS until this fiasco LOL . .
 
aww Happy Anniversary Marla! The 1st Anniversary is such a fun milestone. Here's to at least 49 more to come!

ugh. I fell asleep around 11 last night and my bladder woke me up at 1230..then I was nauseated from the pain pills I took, so it was another 3 hrs before I could get back to sleep...and the damn cat woke me up way too early. I need a nap and it's only 9 am.
 
Jenn, I've got a ton of wedding pictures on Facebook. :)

We seriously had the most fun wedding ever. Our family and friends still refer to it as "the wedding" which totally cracks me up and makes me smile. I'm not a big partier or even super fun most of the time, so I was so happy to have a really fun wedding.
 
Yeah. We are going to the big city to stay the night... Going to go to the movies and out to eat. I loved having a Christmas weekend, but it makes it so hard to celebrate. I can't imagine how crazy it will be when we have kids.
 
Not to freak anybody out but I was thinking, "what happens if the forum does go down over the switch over lockout? Will the three days for this thread start counting then? or is it temporarily suspended in that event?" Just curious.

P.S. You ladies look like you are having a lot of fun with this thread so I am cheering you on to take it into 2012!

I think I am mostly done with Christmas shopping now. A few more little things, I think. My cards are going out tomorrow, and that's okay, because at least it is still before Christmas. :p

What I really need to do is get some housework done before the holidays. Where did all the clutter come from?
 
just come back from a walk to the library - thought my reserves might have shown up, no such luck yet but thats ok since it gives me more excuses to walk each day. now time to get my scrappy on while listening to the radio
