Are you a Thread Killer? Let the Game Begin!

oreo's and milk are good.

Can I just say, this Southern weather is driving me crazy? I'm ready for it to be cold, and even though I don't like it, then I can at least get used to it. This bouncy ball temps is driving us crazy, because as soon as we start getting used to 30's-50's, we're back into the 80's. No wonder we both keep getting colds.

Tomorrow I am heading to Christmas in the South, a giant crafts fair. I cannot wait!

Fro-yo's, Reeces cups, oreos . . sounds like y'all are having a sweet slumber party or something!!!! :)

Can I ask some advice? I have a really bad situation at work at the moment. Let me set the scene by saying that my boss absolutely loathes me but as I am good at my job she has had no reason to actually sack me. It's more a personality thing I think. I cant stand her either. AND I'm not saying I'm perfect, I've said some pretty dumb things sometimes.

I used to think I took things to heart too much, like when I thought 'she's picking on me' I would then think 'no, come on, of course she's not you're just being silly' etc etc (btw I talk to myself a fair bit LOL). Until other staff started saying things to me like "gee, she doesnt seem to like you much" I was getting sent links to sites about harassment and discrimination in the workplace from fellow staff members. Then I thought well, it's not just in my head . . this actually got bad enough that one day I just could not face work, and when I went to the doctor he referred me to a psychologist :(

So she has a particular liking for taking me into an interview room by myself for her little speeches. Which freaks me out. I'm not a confrontational type person - and even if these little 'meetings' dont start out that way, it sure feels like it to me. I clam up, cant talk, can barely think as she is very intimidating and I am always wondering if this is it, will this be my last day?

A couple of days ago she announced that she had resigned - OMG - happy days!! All I could think was 'thank you'!! She will still be in the building but not my boss . .

The next day I was dragged into a room and accused of telling all and sundry in the building that she was taking up another position . . I had mentioned it to a couple of people down the hall, fellow employees in the business she's going to and that I work with . . but she didnt say we couldnt.

So I got the big rah rah rah and told that I was a very good consultant (first time she's said that to me) and that this would jepardise my job. I was just stunned, and as usual, couldnt stammer out much to defend myself.

So my question is - should I send an email explaining why (tho maybe silly) my actions do not warrant being sacked? And how intimidated I feel when she takes me in those rooms? I just think I want something on record if she does sack me . . I feel a bit sick, I dont know what to do. I'm so sorry to write such a depressing novel in what is usually my happy place

If she's leaving, I'd maybe go to her supervisor, because her behaviour is unacceptable in my opinion. I'd write everything out in a clear, concise letter, let it sit over the weekend to make sure you are still comfortable with it, and send it in to her supervisor. No one should have to feel threatened every day at work, it sounds like you are a dedicated employee and the sole reason the workplace is not as productive as possible is her.

*hugs* good luck hon.

Jen said it perfectly. This may turn out to be nothing, but you want to have yourself covered.

And let's do a happy dance that SHE'S LEAVING! Good riddance. I hope you'll be much more happy in your job now, Donna. I hate that she made you feel so badly. That you sought help was a great decision. I'm glad you did.

uhm. I think I have a small addiction to Christmas kits. I bought one today and ahd to talk myself out of 2 others. I bought several last week too. and the week before.

Grrr. Sunburn HURTS. and I hate hives, being outside is making me react lately and I can't take my allergy meds :(

This is what's scary - her supervisor is 'head office' and the board of directors . . *sigh*

I will write a letter I think. I have been recording what's been happening (not for long enough tho). Ugh, I just hope I last til she's gone. I really love my job. Definately will be doing a happy dance Kate once the wicked witch is dead (or moved down the hall, good enough! haha)

THANKS GIRLIES xxx again, have to say BEST SUPPORT/CHEERSQUAD EVA xx

Owwwwchy Jen, do you have aloe vera? I have a huge plant (as well as spray we keep in the fridge) works wonders for sunburn. And I'm having to control my Chrissie Kit addiction too, I think that's why I've 'lost' something, I'm so confused cos I've bought an absolute truckload of the darn things for mum's chrissie pressie

Yeah, I've got aloe slabbed on my face this morning. I'm alternating between it and the oatmeal lotion.

It's interesting, because this is a recent addiction. I only had 1-2 kits before DSD, lol

Write that letter, girl. There needs to be a record of what she's been doing to us. It might come in handy later if she's mean to someone else in the work place.

And yay for her leaving! What a great thing.

We must all be busy! It's been almost 30 hours since we talked! Missing my threadkiller ladies. Went to see Breaking Dawn today with a girlfriend. It was fun to have some girl time.

lol! I was at a friends last night, stealing all her scrapping supplies she no longer wants. Today was the big huge craft fair for us to go to, and we spent 5 hrs there, then DH wanted to watch some movie on TV. Now i'm trying to clean up my office and give myself a schedule for the week.

He finally got home at 7. He worked from 9 am to 7 pm on a dang Sunday... He's almost done farming, though. Then he will be home a little more for the next few months.

I can't believe next year is that soon, either. I'm kinda excited though because that means I get to print my 2011 album.

Wow, such a long day . . hard work too.

Hooray for printing!!! I just put in my order for 8 books for Christmas, cant wait to pick them up!

Donna, how are you feeling, hun? I notice on your ticker that you're past 2 weeks! You are doing awesome!

Looking forward to getting my 3-day week out of the way and enjoying the holiday. My DH get his bonus from work tomorrow, so I'm gonna do some major SHOPPING, too! w00t! I never shop, hate it as a matter of fact, but when it comes to Christmas, there's just something about finding that perfect gift that is so fun!

Morning Ladies!

Donna, I'm interested in how your doing, too? Hanging in there? Totally rocking it?

I've only got a three day work week and I'm ridiculously excited about it.

it's 84 degrees. WTF? Isn't it supposed to be almost winter? I've got the AC off and all the windows wide open. At least my house is smelling good while I clean. This weather makes me want to clean(which is slightly terrifying, lol).

My boss will be gone from noon on today. And there will be nothing at all to do. I may actually bring my laptop on Wednesday, because we will be that slow. My boss is okay with that right before holidays when he knows it will be dead.
