I just got home from a girls retreat with my SIL's, nieces and MIL, it was so fun! But I'm only barely getting on the computer now! Time to do a little shopping! :)

No, I havent cheated . . and I believe I'm up to 8DAYS yeeeehaaaaaaaa!!!! And how crazy did I go :o well, on my second cart lets put it that way, filled so full stuff is fallin off all over the place :thumbup: I worked out I was spending at least $100 a week on killing myself, so I reckon I can spluuuuuurge! :p

Hey everyone, even I am going to enter Cindy's comp and I'm prob the least likely out of everyone!!! Never been on a CT, mostly mojo-less, etc etc . . So if I'm gonna have a lash, everyone else should too!!!

Yay for not cheating, Donna! I need to go check out Cindy's comp! I'm sure I won't have a chance, but I think I need to try on that one! I had a great time shopping! I was good and only spent $15 at SSD ;) I'm ::trying;: to be good! lol

ETA: Good luck on Cindy's contest! I entered it too, but I doubt I have a chance, all the pages so far look amazing!

Sara's still here, she heads home sometime tomorrow. We've been having a blast. Chick flicks + chinese food + a wee bit of alcohol = hilarity.

I did not hit triple digits, lol. I am awfully close, but not in triple digits yet. I've been saving for 4 months for this weekend, lol
 
Glad you're having a good time, Jen! I spent $13 so far LOL. I'll probably spend a bit at a couple other stores, but I'm not going crazy. It's too depressing. I think if I could scrap right now, I'd be spending twice as much :)

I've bought all this stuff, and downloaded zero. the store was too scary slow earlier to even think about it.

I'm seriously feeling down about this whole thing though. Not only can I NOT scrap, I can't even unzip this stuff and slobber over it! I feel pouty.
 
*whimper* that would suck!

Nothing stays on my computer anyway, it all goes on my EHD + my backup EHD + my backupbackup EHD. I could go lay in bed and attempt to download but that would mean I'd have to move out of this chair.
 
Oh, backup EHD talk! How timely! My computer is moving SLOW today after all the downloads... I am thinking it is time to move some goodness onto the EHD. I backup my computer periodically, but not the EHD. Worried that I should... Any tips?
 
I backup to my backup EHD at least 2x a month, and to my backups backup once a month. I literally have them all mirrored. I keep NOTHING on the computer that doesn't have to be, seriously. I have about 50 photos that are on my to-scrap list(but have copies on the EHD), one kit for a CT assignment, and thats it for not needed stuffs.

I'm heading to bed, but I did hurry and scrap a page about the girls weekend I just got back from (and to enter the long shot of Cindy's CT contest, lol) - I do think I scrapped a page in world record speed (for me, haha) when it's scrapped like 7 hours after the event itself ended, haha! (I'm sure I don't have a chance, but it was fun to try, lol! I missed it last time and was so bummed, so at least this time I'm able to give it try for this dream CT!).

Jen, I'm doing that too, backing up the back up, then to the lappy . . so my stash will be on 2 computers and 2 external hardy's THEN I will burn to disc (have already got some burnt, so wont be too huge a chore!)

Andrea, I'm lovin your layout!!!! Everyone has done such a wonderful job, I kinda freaked out when I went to post mine (after thoroughly checking out the competition tehehe!) and omgosh, talk about bright and beautiful! Mine feels a little drab in comparison, but I went for it anyway . . here's mine:

Ugh, 5am??? We're so lucky we dont have to worry about daylight savings here . . apparently most Queenslanders are worried about their curtains getting more faded or something (or so legend has it LOL)
 
OK girls, I wanna know how you met your husbands!

I met my husband in high school! I have known him since i was 13. He asked me to go to the basketball homecoming dance with him on January 24, 2007 (I was 15 years old), and the rest is history! We've been married 10.5 years and as of this coming January, I will have been with him for half my life!
 
Cute pages girls! I need to get to work on mine, as soon as starbucks kicks my brain into gear.

How I met my husband is a long story. I was playing chaperone, he was playing chauffeur. Suffice it to say, I was the worst chaperone ever. We've been together 7 years, married 5.
 
I met my hubby at a somewhat dodgy club . . lol . . we have been together for 12 years this month but have only been married for 4 years. We got married on the 07/07/07 when I was 7 months pregnant (I was barefoot and pregnant when I got married - I'm all about scandal!!!) and we'd been together 7 years. Bubba was 7 pounds.

With all these 7's you'd think we'd have some luck, but we lost all our wedding photos - along with 6 months of photos (damn laptop and stupid school!! long story) so I dont have one photo of our wedding day, and not any decent ones of me pregnant with bubba
 
My hubby and I were set up by our two best friends. They were dating at the time, but broke up last month. :( We are from the same home town, but he is seven years older than me so we didn't exactly know each other in school. We went on our first date almost three years ago when I was home for Thanksgiving break. <3

I'm already on Mockingjay (the third book of the Hunger Games series) girls! I love getting sucked into a book, but I haven't gotten much done this weekend!
 
I actually ::love:: daylight savings time! My kids all love it, too! We had a few of my boys up at 7:00, it was great! I'm all for having an extra hour to sleep in! haha! Luckily, I've never had kids that woke up at the crack of dawn, I've been lucky that way, especially since I ::so:: don't love mornings, lol!

Thanks for your sweet words on my Cindy page! Donna, your page is GORGEOUS! I would not want to be Cindy having to choose the winners... looks painful to me, every page posted in the thread so far looks awesome. Oh well, at least we tried, right? lol

How fun, Kate! You guys are all youngons'! I feel old now! I met my hubby in Cost Accouting in college in 1992. We were married in 1993 and we've been together for half my life, too...but, I was only just barely able to say that, haha! We've been married for 18.5 years! :) He's the love of my life and we're crazy about each other and still going strong! :)

What a fun idea, Kate - cute question to ask! :) Fun to hear how you all met your hubby's. And Donna, gotta love all the 7's you have! That's my hubby's lucky number and always his jersey number in sports! :) Love it! (so sorry about your pictures being destroyed, that's horrible!).
 
I almost got to watch the time change because I couldn't sleep last night, lol. i finally fell asleep at 145...if I had made it 15 more minutes, I would have seen 1 am all over again, lol

Oh goodness. I hate this every year. Men are so hard to buy for, IMO. I actually made a wishlist of very cheap to very expensive things on Pinterest for my hubby. Because I can tell him POINT BLANK what to get me, and it STILL goes over his head. I swear...I love that man.

I'll be thinking about gift ideas...

lmbo. I'm pinteresting our wishlist. I dont know how I would survive without pinterest.
 
We are redoing our basement and turning it into a poker room/football watching place, so I'm going to go to Hobby Lobby and buy a whole bunch of gameroom decorations and wrap them all in different boxes so he has a lot to unwrap. Our anniversary in Dec. 23, so I'm also considering a big gift- a new flat screen for the basement or a poker table I found online.

Other smaller ideas- my husband desperately needs a new wallet. His is like falling apart. Lol. And I think Colby would really enjoy one of those weather systems that display the temperate, humidity, etc. He's kinda obsessed with the weather.

I'm so proud of myself for actually having ideas this year! It helps that I also have a job and a decent amount of extra money for once.

I'm skerred to even start pinterest. :eek: so I never have! I think it would be fun, but I'm worried about the amount of time it would suck out of my day, lol!

I have no idea what I'm getting my hubby for Christmas! It's a good idea to be thinking about it...

Last year, one of his gifts was the mini R/C helicopters from Brookstone and they were a big hit! He still pulls them out with the boys and plays with them. They are good to have especially in the winter time (since we have tons of snow in Utah, awk).

I better get cracking on ideas...

And Marla, you're on the ball, girl - I'm impressed!
