I've been swamped this weekend, BUT, I knew that when I came back that this little thread would keep on going... haha!

I've avoiding going to visit my friend. I know that sounds terrible, but I Just HATE to leave my house. I can think of a zillion things to do here, and I can't do anything except DRIVE for the 30 min. out there and the 45 minutes back because traffic will be awful. UGH. I wish I never had to leave my house.
 
hmm, been checking out real estate . . our lil house is SO small, and the 40 min drive to and from work is starting to be a real grind! Dreaming . . .
 
I'm a homebody to an extent. I don't have a job, we have no children, and my husband works long hours. I spend a ton of time home alone. After a few days, I start getting depressed and way lonely. I know that one day I will appreciate the peace and quiet, but right now it just sucks.

Nope... I'm starting to assume that I didn't get it. :(

It was a job in the election board office. I have a political science degree that I worked my butt of for, it is the perfect fit for me, I rocked the interview, etc. I don't know what to think anymore.

I edited my original post to remove a whole bunch of personal stuff... I just got the mail to find a letter saying I didn't get the job. Maybe next time. :(

Today was much better than yesterday. My husband and I went to the big city for an eye appointment. They dilated my eyes (totally trippy, btw) and I'm all set for another years worth of contacts. All in all, it was a great day... especially since I got some Marble Slab ice cream. Yum. :)
 
had a pretty darn good day myself!!! And tomorrow is going to be interesting, we find out whether my sister will have her lil foster baby for longer . . AND then Friday is my bubba's birthday!! Not that she's a baby anymore, she's actually going to be a big four year old IN JUST TWO MORE SLEEPS MUM!!!
