**stabs thread repeatedly with sharp object**
(all the while thinking...here's to another 38 pages)
I have a job interview today. I've been unemployed since I graduated in December, so I'm really nervous. This economy sucks.![]()
Thanks, Ladies.
I think I might have nailed it... I will find out on Friday or Monday... One problem= the pay is $10.53 hour for a max of 20 hours a week... which equals a little over $800 a month... Won't exactly be making anything, but it will look good on my resume and comes with insurance, retirement, etc.
Once again, this economy sucks.

Cool and rainy today.
Who knew I created a monster, huh? Longest. thread. ever. lol
I like this thread! I think we're getting to know each other better![]()
In the spirit of getting to know everyone better, let's post something about ourselves!
Most people know this one already about me, but I'll start out easy. I'm a librarian! And LOVE it!

Maria, that actually sounds really cool to me! My question is, do you make your own wheat bread? And what kind of wheat do you guys grow? I've been grinding my own wheat and making my homemade wheat bread for 5-6 years and love it!![]()
Funny story... I'm actually allergic to wheat. It's pretty much the worst thing ever.
Most of our corn is fed to cows, but I think some of the wheat might be shipped off to a bread company... I'm not exactly sure. All I know is, we load it up in trucks and it is taken to the local grain bins.
Andrea, I don't read Terry Prachett, but he's been on my toead list for a long time. I'm kinda intimidated because there's just so many books! I hear he's funny and that they're great fantasy books. I do know that the Discworld series starts with The Color of Magic. It's easy enough to find a series order online. But the Discworld series is the one I hear about most often.
Marla, I grew up very similarly! I grew up on a 2,000 acre farm and while it wasn't so long to a Wal-Mart, it was a good 40 miles. We still have the farm in our family, but no one really runs it anymore. You can see a bit of it here.
