im seriously thinking this thread is never going to end but I might not be on it too much since I have a psychology report due on monday & so far I have about half of it done

staying back at school paid off - one report with references done and printed, another assignment about half way done so I only need to do some revision for an assessment next week plus the other half of my report and some maths homework and ill be caught up

Just a couple more days of near 100 degree heat, then the high on Sunday is 79!! Sounds so amazing.

Our weather is cooling off on Sunday, too. It's about time. I don't know if I've ever been so ready for fall.

Ok, so I just learned to crochet and I know ONE stitch LOL. I've practiced enough to where I can say I've "mastered" that stitch. Guess I'll watch some YouTube vids to learn a new stitch.
Fortunately, there are really only about five stitches (slip stitch, single, half double, double, and triple). After single, they're really just extra loops. Then you just do them in sequence to follow a pattern to make something. You can do it! :thumbup:

Oh thanks for the info! Now it doesn't seem nearly as daunting. I had someone show me the first stitch in person, so I didn't know how learning on YT would work out.

I LOVE to crochet, but havent done it for ages . . I've crocheted blankets for my kids in the past, and have a great pattern to do one for myself but never get round to it - and I when I'm in a shop and remember I want wool, there usually isnt any LOL

Well, I did it! I learned a new stitch from YouTube. It was pretty easy. I'm practicing right now.

This means those designers better get busy making new stuff. LOL! I was tempted to buy a lot more than I did from GGG, but I don't think a weekend goes by that I don't buy a new release kit anyway. I try not to, but it never seems to work out that way.
