delete when you purge your harddrive?

For some reason I can't part with anything I bought from Dani or the Shabby Princess. I guess because they were my first addiction and it's like I'm collecting there stuff. LOL! I did break down and delete some of the just paper packs I had of the Shabby Princess'.

Also, I still have everything from Lauren & Christy. I'm a pack rat to a point. I feel guilty when I delete a kit. Especially one that I haven't used.
 
I purged last night a bit and it was soo hard. I know there is stuff i'll never ever use but it just makes me sad. LOL!
 
I purged a few months ago and deleted several gigabytes. It took me about a week and I actually went through every kit and deleted stuff that from each kit and also alot of full kits. I hated doing it but I figured it gave me more room for new stuff
 
Thus far, I've only succeeded in deleting freebie files I downloaded when I was first exploring digi scrapping.

I will admit to deleting some other kits, only because I used them and knew that I would never use them again.

I am collecting kits from a couple of designers, and I believe I have everything they've designed. They are my faves!
 
yeah...I have only been able to detle freebies and some random RAK's that I won't use again. I have the worst time deleting things i paid for and deleting things from places that do challenges because you never know if you will need them! lol
 
I pretty much have everything I've ever bought from La still and everything by Shauren, too. I also have everything from Penny and Julie.:)
 
I have sooooo much KCB stuff, it's sickening (to her at least. lol) ... some of it is 3+ years old. hehehee
 
Well you already know my answer! I had a hard enough time deleting CT stuff I am no longer on the CT for let alone purchased stuff!

But I am with you, some designers are just classic! And when I did the ADSR last year all those SP stuff came in handy for some of the challenges!
 
I have ALL of Christy's stuff!!! LOL!!! However I do burn to DVD as a backup and then I delete things off my hard drive.
 
I have a hard time going..OMG I bought that??? Should see some of the junk I have on my puter haha

I love a good purge...but yah it's hard sometimes lol
 
I cannot delete the stuff from here. Seriously. Only thing I don't have trouble letting go of is solid papers......that's all I can convince myself that I really do have more than I need of. I don't think I've ever deleted La's stuff. Except maybe an album or a quickpage. And all of that is of course somewhere on a CD or DVD ;)
 
I was really involved with another store before Zoe moved to SSD, and I deleted almost everything from that store, and while I think I burned a few dvds of the stuff I loved the most (that I paid for) I have never gone back to it. I sadly miss one kit that I think I lost in the deleting process, it was incredible and had very unique stuff, even though it's about two years old now!
Mostly now, I'm picky with what I buy and don't have to delete often.
 
I don't have issues deleting anything-but I do keep all of my Dani stuff because of all the work I do for Girl Talk-I'm always coming back to old stuff to do challenges...other than that...Nope-GONE-Goodbye...
I even went through my W&W folder this weekend and deleted, and besides SSD its my biggest folder...Felt good after the fact too!

In the beginning I was like that, but once I got ACDSee it all changed!!! It was like once I saw all my "frames/ribbons/green paper" together, it made me realize that I just was not going to use some of those things when I had access to others.....no matter who made them!!

Now about every 4 months I purge and if I haven't even looked at it in the last 6 months I delete it and if I still am not sure I move it to a "TO DELETE" folder and when that next 4 month mark rolls around if it hasn't been used I just delete that whole folder too!!
 
I've deleted almost everything except for SSD, W&W and TLP. And I don't shop very much at W&W or TLP anymore but I do hang on to what I have. Nearly everything else, when I realized I wasn't gonna use it, GONEZO!!! :)
 
About every 3 months I go through my stash. Anything in my stash that doesn't immediately float my boat gets moved to my secondary ehd. Then, anything on that ehd that STILL doesn't float my boat get deleted. Since everything has been backed up to DVD, it's rare that I delete something that I might want at some future date. Based on the size of my Scrapbooking folder, it looks like it's time to purge again.

Specifically, I have a really hard time deleting anything from Dani, Gina Miller and Jen Wilson. I think I have just about everything they ever released. :D
 
I have a REALLY hard time deleting things from here.
I don't shop too many other places anymore, so I don't have to purge as much. I like not having to purge, LOL!
