Apple - Photos Question

My new iMac just arrived and everything transferred nicely except iPhoto. So now I am stuck with photos. I noticed that this version has an "extensions" option in the edit photo area. Has anyone used this??? I was hoping to find a way to open the photo in photoshop here like I was able to do with the old iPhoto. Anyone had any luck?

I haven't played around with Photos very much. I'm trying to avoid it as long as possible. But, I wonder if you can drag a photo onto the Photoshop icon in the dock. I often open photos from Aperture that way.
