I ordered the iPhone 7 Plus and today they shipped...
...
...
...the case to me. :(

The phone should arrive in a month!

Anybody else pick up the new iPhone 7? If you have it, do you like it? Anybody else waiting for a delivery like me?
 
My contract isn't up until December and I'm on Mat leave, so sadly it will have to wait for a bit. Super excited for it though when I do get to get it!
 
what?! They shipped you the case?! That's rude!
I've not upgraded. It's not in the budget. I like my iPhone 6s right now, I don't need to upgrade--yet! :D
 
I only have the iphone 5 right now - and it's really sluggish. My hubby's 5 is being held together with tape (really!) so he's going to inherit mine and I get the shiny new 7 Plus. (He doesn't use as many apps as me so we're hoping my old 5 will work for him once I've wiped my account off of it and he adds his.)

My plan has always been to upgrade "every other number" - so I have a 5, am getting the 7 shortly, and will likely get the 9 after that (or whatever they call it then!).
 
I got my iphone 7 last Friday. I wanted to like the 7plus but it's just too big for my small hands. I'm very happy with it especially since my 6s has a busted camera (that would cost about $185 to fix). It's very nice that our time to upgrade with our telco is the month the new iphone is released:D

I don't think hubby ordered yet... he is still trying to decide if he wants the plus or not... I would love the plus for the camera, but like Jacq, I think it will be too big for my hands... I've lost count the number of times I've dropped or almost dropped my 6. haha.

I have little hands too - but the 'reachability' feature which brings the top of screen down is very helpful. :) You might even like it on your 7, just because it puts everything within easy reach.

Ohhh so that's why the top of the screen drops down sometimes I didn't know that lol. There's too many little features that I've yet to explore and the ios10 update it's quite fun.

I think when the 7plus have more features I really really like I eventually give in.

Did you get the jet black?

I got the silver. My iphone 5 was black and I want to try one with a white screen this time. :)
 
We got our daughter one last Friday. She says it's the greatest thing ever. I personally hate IOS 10. They ruined the music which is very important to me.

Enjoy your phone, though! It'll be here before you know it.
 
I ordered my 7 Plus on release day and it delivered last night. I got the rose gold and it's so purty. I haven't set it up just yet. Will spend the time doing that today. :)

I secretly wanted the rose gold, but since I might pass it along to my husband, I went with the silver.
 
Haha! I didn't even think of that. Oh well...we usually put ours in some sort of case that covers the color of the phone so he'd never even notice. My 6 Plus is white and you'd never even know because of the case it's in. It's a great phone. I only upgraded because it's only a 16GB and I'm constantly told I'm running out of space. I went with a much larger storage space in the 7 Plus. There's nothing worse than going to take a photo or video and losing the moment because I have to go delete some first.

I hear you about the storage space! My 5 has 32 gb and I'm constantly deleting apps to make room for others or removing music.

I may have overcompensated though because I bought the 256 gb iPhone 7, lol! Clearly the space issue is important to me!!
 
LOL on 256 GB! I have no space either and would love a better camera since I use my phone for all pics these days but it will have to wait as we have other priorities right now and my 6 is working fine, though I don't have any space.

So wrong to ship the case and make you wait for the phone! A month is painful!!
 
I was thinking. . .a month? I got a gold one last Friday and was able to go into my carrier's store and switch it for the matte black. Granted, I only wanted a regular size 128mb one, but is the wait time because it's the big one? If that's the case, I guess the stores wouldn't have that beauty just lying around.
 
Mine came last week! I LOVE it!!! I have the rose gold 7 Plus.....LOVE I got the pretties Kate Spade case that it clear with flowers on it....I love how well it goes with the rose gold!!!
 
Are any of you guys missing the headphone jack on the 7? I think it's so lame that they took that out : /
 
It comes with an adapter that you have to leave on the end of your earbuds or earphones, but they really want you to buy those pricey wireless earbuds. Mo Money!!!

They said by taking it out they were able to make the battery better...and make the phone more water resistant. It comes with an adapter so you can still use the earbuds. I have bluetooth earbuds since I run so it wasn't an issue for me.

Tim ordered it through his ATT work account because he gets a big discount. :)

But here's what the case looks like...it is SO pretty with the rose gold!!! The case is clear so the rose gold shows through!!

Ooooh...I like that. I'll have to go into one of the AT&T stores and see what they have. I kind of don't want to cover the rose gold. I didn't care with my other phones but I'm so in love with the color. LOL!
 
That is a tease! I'm planning to replace my 5 with a 7, but I'm always worried about them getting all of the bugs fixed, so I'll probably wait a bit. I'm also trying to decide what the best economical option is. Our plan with Verizon is significantly less expense when we are using our own devices without a contract. I guess I just need to go into the store and see what they can do for me and then decide.
 
that's horrible! Hope they send it faster than expected.

I have the 6+ and love it. I've toyed with the idea of upgrading, but I'm satisfied with my phone so it's hard to justify the expense. I might upgrade before my vacation in March though. The extra photo storage would be nice.
 
I'm getting a 7Plus. Hubby waited a few days to put our order in, so it won't be here for a few more weeks, but I'm super excited for the cameras on that thing!

I always get Silver. I like a nice clean, neutral color for the phone itself, but I'm going to be looking for something fun for the case. If anyone knows of some good sites to look at for cases, link me up!

I replaced my 5 with a 7 as well. I went for the 128 through verizon and it's 32/monthly for the payment plan. We plan to pay it off sooner though, but for right now just didn't have that kind of cash to pay it off in one swoop.
 
Y'all have talked me into getting a plus! haha... Kim - I love that case, I was looking at that when I was at Verizon the other day. Marla - you will have to let us know how you like the ring... I'm so scared of dropping the phone even though it's really not that much wider than the 6...

Hubby is thinking of doing with the Apple Upgrade plan this time around. Has anyone done this? He said crunching the numbers it's not that much more money than what we had with Verizon... we just won't own our phones "out right" as we do now.
