I happened to be browsing Amazon today when I got a Wii alert that they were in stock. Garrett just told me this week that he wants one for Christmas so I snatched one up.

So who thinks I can keep it hidden in the closet until Christmas? Or maybe his birthday in November. I want to save it but Billy is already itching to play with it. I have a feeling Billy will use his big blue eyes on me and make me cave.

Maybe I should do some bargaining here. He can have the Wii (I paid for it from my business account) if he gets me a new camera lens.

LOL! I am the worst at keeping presents secret! I get way too excited and give in almost immediately! lol! Good luck to you hiding it!!
 
oh amanda - you need to bargain for the lens! you'll never be able to keep it hidden anyway LOL
 
LOL! Ok I confess we bought a Wii for our kids last Christmas, and when they weren't around, Hubby and I took it out and played with it for hours! LOL! Then we put it back up and wrapped it for Christmas!
 
First, LOL! @ Becca! Sounds like what I would do.

Now, if it were me, I'd bargain for the new lens and then give up the Wii! You'll be a hero AND have a new lens. Hahahahah
 
I'm awesome at hiding gifts. I hide them so well that I myself cannot find them when it is time to give them:) I start buying Xmas gifts around now, so keeping something hidden for months is normal to me.

A Wii might be hard though because I'd want to play with it..
 
I bought mine last July for Benjamin for Christmas. I just put mine in a bag, on the shelf in my closet and ignored it. It was SO worth the wait until Christmas, because all along I told Benjamin that I had been looking everywhere for one, but there were NONE. He was so shocked:
