:D You're welcome Meg and her smile just makes me so happy! I'm super glad she loved it!:):hugs::wub:

They are, right? :D
I work in a really small village. Some people actually still wear them. They make quite some noise when they enter my shop. :p

Oh it's just so amazing! Ii would love to see that! I know there are very beautiful ones and there are famous across the world but always wonder if it's confortable to wear except the noise :p

I really enjoy this thread as I learn things from you too!:)

I didn't know for liquorice.

Fiona, Wendy, I'm with you if you want!:)

Emily, I love this thread too!
I love the fun facts from other countries, and telling about mine!

Those wooden shoes are not very comfortable by the way.
Some put some sheep's fur in it to make it more comfy.

I totally agree, hope we can share again!:)

I know my grand father told me that when he was born, his uncle wear those kind of wooden shoes (but not with decorations on it lol) and as it was very cold he added hay Inside but the sheep's fur must be better!lol!:p

Thank you so much Christine & Olesya, Kaylee loved getting her postcards, she has everything pinned up on her board & likes to look up on the map where exactly everything is coming from ♥
