Anyone ever bought the shutterfly

I do, it's the only way I print.

It depends on how the auction is set up, for codes or for accounts. Either way, they either send you the free book code and you just enter it into your account. Or they send you the account login and password, it's always something really crazy. You log into that account, upload your layouts and print from that account, then share with YOUR shutterfly account so the project will copy over :)

Hope that makes sense! I've done it about 6x with no problem.

I'm almost caught up on all my printing. I just ordered July, August & September and now I want to get my wedding album printed. Since we'll be getting our taxes soon.

i haven't bought codes but love the shutterfly books! ive also recently ordered from Artscow and have gotten a ton of free books :)

The artscow books are ok, imo, compared to shutterfly I don't like them as much, but if you've never printed w/ shutterfly then you'll love them.

I've thought about switching to artscow, but their books only hold 39 pages. Most of mine tend to be at least 60, usually more.

yw! hope it works well for you! I bought a code last week for 2 books, I need to get them uploaded tomorrow because they expire soon! I am so pleased with the Shutterfly books I don't want to try anything else!

Do you guys all scrap chronologically? I've been wanting to print books, but I don't scrap in order, but I want my pages in order. Do you just do a month at a time and then print?

I have both Shutterfly and Artscow, they are both great, but Shutterfly was a tiny bit nicer. Artscow only can do 39 pages though, so not sure what to do when I get to a book I have coming up, its way more than 39 pages.

I don't scrap chronologically but that's because when I discovered digi I already I had a five year old...I just scrap and print and scrap and print...whatever I've been working on...but I think Vanessa does do month at a time...

I like the Shutterfly books a LOT more than the Artscow ones, quality wise. But price wise, the artscow books work fine for me :) I don't print all my layouts in books though. I only do books for theme albums.

I don't scrap chronologically - but I print my layouts as 8x8 at Costco and put them in order into albums. My theme books that I've printed in these past 2 months are:

2008 AAM layouts (those are in no order whatsoever LOL)
2008 Our trip to the zoo
A gift album for xmas to my cousin with layouts I did using her baby girl ~ since she so nicely lets me borrow pics to scrap those girly kits ... I only have boys :P

And, the latest one I'm working on is my sister's baby shower :)

I don't scrap chronologically, and while I haven't printed anything yet (it's on my to do list this weekend actually), I have no plans to print chronologically either. I like seeing my pages all willy nilly like in my gallery. I assume that down the road, when I gather enough pages of something like my childhood, that I'll print a special book just for them. But for now, I could care less, lol.

I print chronologically for what I am printing if that makes sense. I don't print all that often & when I do I go with Viovio or blurb because when I print I print a lot. I go for 50-120 at a time. I organize whatever group of layouts I am printing into chronological order for that book.

Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have enough AAM type layouts to print a book with them in them.

Yeah, that's how I do it. Not every book I do is just one month, I try to get 2 months in each book, but since Cooper was born it seems I have enough pages to fill up a month at a time. Last year so far mine have been January & February in one book

Most of March in one book, some of March and all of April in a book, May, June & July had one book, then August & September together.

How long does it usually take for them to send you the code? The one I bought expires on Saturday. My book is in my cart, all waiting to go.
