Anyone else waiting impatiently for the new challenge system to be revealed?

I finished posting my last Portfolio challenge LOs this morning, and now I'm not-so-patiently waiting for the big reveal. I'm not a big fan of change, and being weekly instead of monthly makes me a bit nervous. But I'm hoping I'll love the new system as much as the old one once I get used to it.
 
I am!! I have a goal to quadruple my scrapping in 2014! That sounds impressive until you realize how few pages I finished in 2013. lol
 
Not that I think you won't like the new challenges, but for those worried about change:

Weekly might actually work better for me. I know that I will look over challenges at the beginning of the month, intend to do them, set them aside and then, all of a sudden, it's the end of the month and nothing got done.
 
We are really excited about our new challenges, but they are REALLY different than anything we've done before so keep that in mind. We're taking a much more relaxed approach which features amazing weekly inspiration and a "play along if you're feeling inspired for a chance to win goodies" kind of strategy.

I can't wait to roll these out on January 5th for you guys as we think this system fits perfectly into the busy lives we're all leading!

For those of you that are looking to keep things simple and get things done you want to get done in 2014 - I think you'll find the new new system to be right up your alley!

I wonder if we could bribe someone to get an early look for those of us who get a lazy day tomorrow? I can bake a mean cookie :D
 
Im hoping to participate this new year! This past year I was so busy with other crafts and life that I only scrapped quietly alone, lol :-)
 
Looking forward to it!!! I know I want to participate more in challenges in 2014 and look forward to see what the new system has to offer!!
 
I'm scared to lose my coupon too. Hoping that's not part of it. Also sad I have to wait a few days since I'm finally not busy tomorrow. Lol. Can't wait to find out.
 
As soon as I saw it was going to be play for a chance to win, I assumed we were losing the coupons. The challenge system as it was worked perfectly for me, but I can understand why Robin and everyone else here wanted to try changing it. There seem to be fewer of us doing the challenges every month, so it makes sense to try a system where people can drop in for a challenge here and there rather than having to earn a certain number of points every month. I'm going to miss the motivation of needing to earn those points, though. (All me assuming, of course. I know nothing about how the challenges are really changing.)
 
I share a lot of the concerns that losing the coupon for participating could be scary... playing along doesn't guarantee a chance to win, and I like product!

On the flip side, new releases and sales are when I buy most of my product as it is, which means my shopping habits won't change much from the change, most likely, and the reason I do challenges is to be inspired... my heart sank when I thought the coupons could be leaving, but then I realized that there are a lot of months I participate in the challenge, but then let the coupon expire because I don't have the funds at the time I can use them, and end up buying what I want in a sale...

I can see both sides of things. I'm mostly hoping for good inspiration (and if I win something, I win something-- always a bonus).
 
I think it sounds great, I think it sounds like a way to get the community really active.

Change is always good, every time a new system has been introduced there has been panic. Lol!
 
I am hoping the change will make it a bit more feasible for me to keep up. I hope there is something so there's no need to go to Pinterest for the actual prompts, I don't really do Pinterest. But, either way, one of my goals was to scrap more this year.

I've seen the challenges here change many times, and every time, there are some who like it, and some who don't. I never did participate much, as I mostly scrap for the artistic value as opposed to the memory keeping side, but I do know a lot of people do. I am sure Robin and the team have something awesome lined up!
