Anybody Else....

*raises hand*

It doesn't creep me out. But it's not like I'm a huge fan of them... My kids have never sat on an Easter Bunny's lap.
 
Mall Santas are creepy because they are 25... really can't they get a Santa that at least RESEMBLES Santa?!?
 
When my son was 3, we went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny and he started screaming "There's a DUDE in the bunny. There's a DUDE in the bunny! Listen everybody, the Easter Bunny is NOT REAL". His big sisters were crying. We were grabbing him and running up the escalators before other kids could hear it, it was terrible. Oh, I just remembered that I scrapped about. See the layout below!

LOL. I was starting to think it was just me...I keep seeing all these Easter Bunny pics on FB and reading all the 'so cute!' Comments. And I'm sitting here trying to keep my 'creepy' comments to myself. ;-)

yes mall bunnies are freaking creepy! I've only ever seen one bunny that wasn't creepy and thankfully the boys loved it. we probably won't be doing bunny pics this year
 
Funny story...we don't actually have an Easter bunny in our mall (I don't think? I don't really go to the mall so I guess there could be one there) but every year a friend of our family hosts an egg hunt and we all chip in some $$ and she buys & fills & hides all the eggs. So anyway, we've done this every year since my son was born except last year (when it snowed), and as I was processing pics from 2012's hunt...I noticed that the "bunny" at the hunt was actually a bear with "bunny ears" stapled to the ears!!! Hahahahhaaha, I never even NOTICED it when we were there!

Now, our mall Santa is actually the real Santa.

BIG mall bunnies are creepy. (LOL.... Big Dude in the Bunny Suit, I should say!)

I think some mall Santas are creepy. We were lucky - ours totally comes off as real - beard, round, red cheeks, totally a sweet old man.... but he's probably still creepy, lol!
 
So, are you all creeped out at the characters in costume at Disney, too? And at the people in animal sports mascots? Just curious. :D
 
That is one awesome Santa.

Thankfully we don't have a mall around to see a creepy bunny! My son at age 5 though did stand with Mickey mouse. Now he's cool. :thumbup:

I'm guessing the creepiness comes from the fact that there isn't a real agreed upon image of 'The Easter Bunny'. So everyone comes up with their own thing. But we all know Mickey Mouse as a character so it's much easier for us to think of it as Mickey Mouse rather than a "dude in a suit".
 
Dang.... I am that crazy mom who does the pics, and I haven't done baby's 1st Easter bunny pic... Gah!

We rarely go to the mall but I have never taken Aida for a photo. It's just not something I thought of doing.

Disney, no. Because they are quality costumes and don't look creepy. But, Easter bunnies... The costumes are usually cheap and...I dunno...creepy. Lol
