Any other Indiana Jones fans?

I was in here on the computer and i heard 'the music'. Unmistakable Indiana Jones theme song. so i had to jump up and run into the living room to catch the trailer! I have always loved those movies! I'm so excited for the new one, and am SO happy Harrison Ford is in it. He's always been my 'hero' :wub: I'm giddy with anticipation. I may have to go out and get all the old movies and watch back to back; my very own Indiana Jones Marathon! BYOP= Bring Your Own Popcorn

Mememeeeeee!!! I heart Harrison. Well, except for the whole "I've temporarily GONE INSANE and am with Calista Flockhart" part. But yes, I love the Indy movies. Love them. My favorite is the one w/ Sean Connery.
 
I WANT that trilogy!! Yay!! i'm not the only Indiana Jones freak!! I know when i heard they were making another one, i about DIED! lol! Plus, since i live in Indiana, its practically mandatory, isn't it?

indiana jones and the last crusade was pretty intense!! i love them all! lost ark will always be my fav just cause it was first. =)
 
Add me to the list! I have always loved the Indy movies!! I was so glad to see that Harrison Ford was going to be in it! Just wouldn't be the same if he wasn't! Can't wait to see it!!

it's a serious problem for me. i was born in 1980...i know! =) my dad was a star wars, indiana jones fanatic...so there ya go...i'm a freak too. =)
 
Oh, ME ME ME! I can't wait to see the next one. I think I'll have to do a home trilogy party, too!
 
I love Indy! I could watch those movies over and over. I've got my daughter hooked now too, though I find it kinda scary that she thinks 65 yo Harrison Ford is good-looking. :)
 
I live with THE fan of ALL fans....my fiance, Jason! He's obsessed.

The premiere of the trailer was on Good Morning America a while ago. Jason literally went late to work that day (he never does otherwise) so he could stay home and watch the trailer. Tears streamed down this man's face when he heard the music for the trailer! It's STILL in our DVR and whenever he's in a bad mood he plays the trailer to make him smile. He has 2 huge framed Indiana Jones posters hanging in his office too. Oh yeah, and a photo of him and Harrison Ford in tuxedos from some formal event he went to because him and a friend knew Harrison Ford would be there. LOL. It's cute though.

Needless to say we'll be at the midnight showing on "thursday" evening/Friday of May 22nd when the film premieres.
 
Me me me!! I'm so excited! I loooooove the old movies. I have such fond memories of watching them with my father. I think Lost Ark is my fave, but just barely. I can't WAIT to see the new one! And I love Shia LeBouf too. I think he'll be great.

Loves me some Indiana Jones! We have the trilogy on DVD. I was so excited when I heard they were making a 4th one and that Harrison Ford would be in it. Can't wait! :thumbup:
 
Ditto on everything said here - I love Indiana Jones! I know my dad would have gone to see it with me as he was the one who took me to my first Indy movie. My husband, though, has never seen any of the Indiana Jones, so he doesn't get it - {sigh}!
 
Ooo, me me! My DH and I actually just rewatched the trilogy last week. I'm pretty excited for the 4th one, I just really hope it doesn't go the way of the Star Wars prequels. :thumbdown:
 
I canNOT wait! Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom was the first movie I ever saw in the theater, and I still love it! I am so excited!
 
I have never seen any of the movies but I do love Harrison Ford! ;) My ex boss was a huge fan, even had one of those big posters on his cube wall framed from the movie and always joked about how it should have been on the interview questions about seeing Indian Jones and Star Wars movies. LOL!
 
I am with no doubt the biggest Indy fan!!! OK maybe not as much as Mikkel's Jason but pretty darn close!!!! We also have the trilogy and watch it often. I even watch it when it is on TV with commercials and everything!!!! My favorite is also the one with Sean Connery (LOOOOOOVE HIM), I love it when he calls him JR, just so funny!!! I am UBBER excited about the new movie, my kids are too!!!! I know what we will be doing that weekend for sure!!!
 
There is a new one? :thumbup: Ironically just yesterday my husband said he wants to rent them for my 6 yr old to watch.

OK...now I feel old LMAO! I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark on a date - at a Drive-In, no less! - my Junior year of High School.

Love me some Indiana Jones :thumbup:
 
I've been in love with Harrison Ford since 1977. :) I'm so glad tehy were finally able to arrange for everyone to get together & make this movie. They have been talking about making it for years now, but someone always had something else to do. I'd more or less given up hope that they's ever make it with Harrison Ford in it.

We already have a sitter lined up to see the Saturday matinee. I'd have prefered the midnight Thursday/Friday showing but you take what you can get with sitters. :)

BTW, have any of you ladies ever noticed the fly that crawls in Belloq's mouth in Raiders of the Lost Ark? I kept rewinding and watching it over and over when I first made that discovery. lol

Oh, I loved the Indy movies as a kid! We have the trilogy on DVD now. I am excited to see this new one and I hope it's as good as all the others. I think they should've done this one years and years ago!
