any one else....

well, I can get in to the store, but every time i hit the confirm button, it tells me the server isn't responding, :(

then when i try to get in again, I have to completely close out of my browser, i am bummed.
 
Are you paying with a credit card? There are issues with CC payments today. I ended up using my CC through PayPal, then it worked fine.
 
I'm having problems paying with a CC once I hit the Confirm Button....:(

My computer does not like Paypal so this is not an option for me....I'm so upset that I won't be able to shop today....:crying:

you don't have to USE paypal..just choose the paypal option then you can use your credit card thru there (w/out even having to sign up for paypal)

you can't open www.paypal.com on your computer? What does it say?
 
Hi Meghan, Whenever I try to go into Paypals site, even using the link you provided, it comes up "Cannot find server-Microsoft Internet Explorer

But you are saying that I can go into the Shoppe and choose the Paypal option, but still use my CC? As long as it does not try to take me into any page affiliated with Paypal I might be able to do it....Gonna give it a try....

***Nope, it doesn't work for me....I'm not sure why my computer hates Paypals site, but it comes up with the same message as above....***

Sorry for the trouble guys. I posted a notice in the payment method section of the shoppe but I'll post it here too.
Unfortunately, we are having trouble with our payment gateway not being able to connect to get an approval for credit card orders being placed. We are looking into a fix for the problem but it may not be until Monday before that happens. ​

In the meantime, you can choose the paypal option and pay with your credit card even without having an account. Paypal is extremely secure and is a great option if you need to use a credit card and dont want to set up a paypal account. Just choose paypal as your payment method and continue with checkout, you'll be redirected to the paypal payment screen and instead of logging into your paypal account, there is an option on the left (look for the credit card logos) that says "Dont Have a Paypal Account?" - click "continue" in that section and enter your card info on the next screen to pay with your cc or debit card without creating a paypal account. ​

I am really sorry for any inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any questions.​

I'm really sorry to hear that as we would love to have your business today. Unfortunately for us, sometimes with technical problems our hands are tied and we're reliant on outside sources to get us up and running again. I'll keep you guys posted for sure.

SSD's login and checkout are secure sites, so I suspect that's not their problem. I'm thinking maybe a firewall or secure browsing issue might be what's up? (Safari on my Mac has a Private Browsing option that I use when I do my banking. If I forget to turn it off, I have problems with shopping).

Try Firefox if you haven't already, and if you're running any kind of firewall, look into what the settings are.

Not sure what is keeping me from accessing the Paypal site....It is very frustrating, to say the least....LOL Yes, I can access other https:// sites....
Oh well, as Robin said "their hands are tied"....I'll just have to shop a different day....

Thank you all so very much for trying to help me complete my sale at the Shoppe....A light bulb just went on in my pea pickin' brain and I decided to try my Daughter's computer in her room....It let me pay using my CC through Paypal....:thumbup:
Yippee! I'm happily downloading now....LOL
