Any news on Shawna?

I'm sure La knows the answer to this, but is there any news on Shawna? I've been thinking about her all day.

Yep... She's recovering, in pain but doing well. Looks like it's NOT cancer, which is the greatest news of the century :]

posting for Wifey: Surgery went well, they only ended up taking half her thyroid and they're thinking now that it's not cancerous. We won't know 100% for sure for a couple of days, but right now it's looking like all is well. Shawna's just in post-op right now and I should be able to go hang out with her in about an hour. They said she's up and chatting and doing great. Thanks for all the well wishes!

In my recovery room now and doing alright... just groggy right now, but hopeful and that feels good.

I know it is a long surgery, and the recovery getting off the anesthesia and pain meds is not fun (at least it wasn't for me). Hope you start to feel better much faster than I did Shawna. And so thankful it was just a hemi-thyroidectomy and that it doesn't look cancerous.
